This is an incredible performance. Maybe it's not appropriate but I think it'd be a great version to release as a single, with money going to a charity of the family's choice.
People need to hear the raw emotion from Axl here.

Sigh.
I love the guy, but if he isn't going to sing in baritone, maybe he should retire. His voice is ruined, and it's painful to listen to him now. It's really sad (literally).
Interesting. Sometimes I wonder if one’s mood affects the way they hear Axl’s voice on any particular day -
Crying considering, pretty good November Rain performance

What was axl’s relationship with her?

How are the RHCP concerts these days? In 2019, I watched them in Rock in Rio, for many songs, Kiedis would read lyrics, crouched down. A bit off putting to be honest.
He’s singing better than he did on the last couple tours. Also no crouching or lyric forgetting at the show I went to lol. I’d recommend it.

I see. So people posting blatantly false, hateful, and dangerous information is just a matter of opinion. Never mind the use of the n word has skyrocketed since Musk took over. For you, the problem isn’t the person saying it but those offended by it.
Yeah, nothing says harmony and beauty like racism allowed to run wild.
The surge in use of the n word was the result of a trolling campaign by a small amount of bot accounts repeatedly posting it. It was quickly taken care of. No major decisions regarding content moderation have been made at Twitter since Musk’s takeover.
Given your platform, you should be more careful to not spread misinformation. -

Which songs are the most improved by the new mix?
I have no opinion on this yet - still listening.

Of course you can feel frustrated. I didn't say you can't or shouldn't. It was your comment that there can't be any justifiable reason for the low output, that I reacted to. There could be many reasons and they don't have to justify themselves to anyone, including us.
One could feel they’re owed something when members of the band keep leading fans on to think they actually do want to release new music. Someone tells you they’re gonna do something, you expect them to do it
Edit: didnt realize this was an old post

Might be Tokyo 2009 for me.

Sure is fun for one’s favorite artists to be Guns n Roses and Kanye West

They’re not doing much if anything new here. It’s just that after John being gone for over 10 years, this is what I want, I don’t really need to hear them pushing the envelope. If they do another album after this I definitely would want that one to sound different.

Now that RotDC has grown on me so much I, like, can’t even listen to UL anymore lol
Right? I'm pretty sure if I made an "Unlimited Dreams" mashup album, it would have 4-5 songs tops from UL.

For some reason leaning more towards Garden of Eden. Might be nostalgia from when I was a fledgling GNR fan just checking out the music videos. I love the high note on “FIIIRE’s burnin and it’s out of control” in the chorus.

A lot of my friends are into them, but they have so much music. Don’t know where to start.

The Drummer is a great choice for the newest single:
This album keeps growing on me with each listen. Way better than UL.
Such a lovely song. I was worried they didn’t have these up their sleeve anymore. When the soloing kicks in on the final chorus

Kinda disappointed after listening to Tippa My Tongue... thought this was gonna be a more solid album, but unfortunately RHCP seems to care more about releasing literally every last bit of material they have and make another 17-track album targetted towards profiting the most possible out of streaming platforms and that makes this album, which has pretty good material in it, be surrounded by mediocre songs that would never the cut 15 years ago.
Anyways, this is how I rate/rank the songs:
Tippa My Tongue 8.5/10
Roulette 6/10
Afterlife 6/10
Bella 6/10
Peace and Love 6/10
Copperbelly 6/10
Carry Me Home 5/10
Handful 5/10
Eddie 5/10
La La La La La La La La 4/10
Fake As Fuck 4/10
My Cigarette 4/10
Shoot Me A Smile 3/10
Reach Out 3/10
Bag of Grins 3/10
The Drummer 3/10
In the Snow 2/10
If this is not a troll, I would encourage you to listen again, I think whatever headspace or mood you were in on your first listen did you a disservice (happens to me all the time on first listens, I actually wasn’t into this album very much on my first listen).
if you don’t like the album whatever, but having lalalala above The Drummer tells me that something went wrong here, having Afterlife above Eddie tells me something went wrong here
throw it on in the car, smoke a bowl, listen to it in random order, I don’t know, something different

I can’t believe I’m saying this but… My Cigarette is growing on me.
My friend and I agree now that RotDC is better than UL, but I still don’t like tracks 14-16, and In The Snow is only good in a funny way.
Yeah the more this sets in the more I’m 100% sure I like this one more.
I like In the Snow, though the Anthony nonsense comes close to ruining it for me.

I have to stop myself from listening to Drummer over and over.

Whatever your top 5 may be from this album, do you guys agree that the top 5 of this album blows away the top 5 of UL?
Even if UL is more consistent.

Anthony’s lyrics become more and more unhinged

First listen. It's a little weak, but there were enough great highs that I'm ok with it. We got enough good RHCP music this year. I'm excited to keep listening though, as my views on Unlimited Love evolved over time too. It's a lot of music to take in.
I really like My Cigarette. I wouldn't mind 5 of those on the album.

Ok, you guys kinda convinced me with Se7en

Seems like Fake as Fuck and Drummer are staples thus far (only 2 shows to work with). Gotta say, looking at their set lists makes me appreciate GNR’s show length. While RHCP switches the setlist up quite well, they have too many “must hear” songs for me and they don’t play long enough to play them while also giving the new albums enough attention.
