  1. If everyone knew what I knew from a personal email, your eyes would explode out of their sockets and splatter against the wall. I know it all dudes - the fights, the plans, who's staying, who's going, you name it.

But I'm not going to tell you and you'll have to take my word for it. Cause I'm a fucking enigma.

P.S. CD2/Russian Intrigue is the tits. And wait while you see what Axl says about Slash on pg217 of his autobiography. Damn, now that makes sense of everything! ;)

P.P.S. Fuck 'insiders' who won't share the info. No better than bootleg hoarders.

    *sigh*

I'm not saying I agree with Subsy on this one, but posts like this don't help the situation.

I hate to speculate a reunion, but the timing would work as far as Axl throw out the last of the CD sessions while Slash does his album cycle. Give a year or two during that time for Duff to really bridge Axl and Slash. It's closer than it's ever been I think.

Don't set yourself or anyone else up for disappointment. Axl and Slash will die never talking to eachother again. It's sad, I wish I didn't have to say it, and I hope I'm wrong--but we can't get all warm and fuzzy about something that Axl himself has scathingly denied and put to rest numerous times.

  2. "We recorded a lot of things before Chinese was out,"

So, there's new material with Ashba?

Chinese came out November 2008. The announcement of DJ's joining the band didn't come until March(?) 2009.

I imagine there is new material with Ashba, but it wasn't recorded anytime near CD's release. There is probably quite a bit from 2010-present with Ashba's guitar work on it. Ashba himself said he would be on the next record, so it's possible he reworked others material before him, like Bumble did with CD.

  3. You guys are forgetting about the Marseilles song Axl is covering now.

Yesterdays, Attitude, Raw Power, Prostitute, Marseilles.

This tour has made me very disillusioned, angry, and cynical, but these last few shows have really put the kick back in my step. There's still little to no chance of a new album, but I'm very pleased with how this tour has gone, all things considered, I mean c'mon we got Duff back for an extended period! They also opened two shows with songs that were not CD! I never thought I'd see the day.

NGOG, Subsy, thanks for being our lightning rods for a little while. I'm sorry if we got a little testy. ^_^ You guys deserve hugs. (Party passes, here I come).

  4. Nice! Very excite!!

I know it ain't gonna happen but how about The General, Seven or Thyme?

My favorite moment from the stream of last night:

    "The General"

"Who said that?...yeah, what he said!"

LMAO. I missed that. Where was it? :P

I feel like it was in the middle, perhaps towards the end. People were just running out of requests because Yesterdays, Prostitute, and TWAT had been played. lol (or at least I thought that's where that comment was in the show).

  5. I think people are interpreting this the wrong way. Axl said he was going to "seriously" take a lot at what they got. Axl's known exactly what he's had for years now. DJ, 4tus, and Dizzy are saying the same ole same ole.

If we are tp believe deep down in our hearts that CD II and CD Remixed are coming out anytime soon, if at all, we are just setting ourselves up for disappointment.

the number of releases they owe UMG?

And that number is? I haven't been able to get a straight answer out of anybody on that question. Surely it isn't just one more album.
