Whereas GNR promotion for a new single is posting about it once on social media and never mentioning it again, outside of performing the songs live.

That said, do you think the studio vocals have been re-recorded since 2006 (or 1999 lol)? The vocals from the leak sounded almost identical to the performance last night.

The fact they registered it as one track leads me to think they were going to spring a surprise and have monsters after the general on single. But the quality was obviously shit so they have most likely scrapped it and itll just be the general. Which would be a crying shame. Just baffling these songs are 20+ years old and we're only just getting them and still we might not get monsters for another couple of years! madness

Imo Monsters is about the child/mother relationship in regards to abuse suffered by The General.

Wow they skipped a lot of songs! But they got The General (and Don't Cry) so it all balances out. Great set of shows! I wonder how the festival on Sunday is gonna be?
