I don’t think that’s clear at all.

Meh. More interested in what the “special” announcement will be.

I thought the agreement was it's an AI video for The General?
That doesn’t make sense though. They said “f’n special”, and there’s nothing special about an AI video.

Luiz Berger is producing some of the best artwork of this tour. It is original, unlike many of the coveted tracings…
It’s the third mob-inspired Chicago poster. Some may argue it’s originality.

Other shows they dropped the pits to $150 the day of the show, looks like they are not doing it for Wrigley, maybe it is a ticketmaster thing as Wrigley is not sold on ticketmaster
It’s super odd since last time they played Wrigley the pit was dirt cheap. Maybe they know now that fans have wisened up and they want to direct ticket sales to seats to make the park look fuller.

How is it different from other football stadiums? We don't have many of these in Europe and certainly I don't remember ever seeing a concert taking place in a ballpark. So I'm curious how the show or experience of it is different...
Can’t speak for Chris, but there are usually large patches of empty spaces or weird viewing angles at baseball stadiums. Football stadiums are more conventionally shaped.

Setlist.fm says that they are playing Breakdown right now. Is that true???
Made a bee line here just to check.

Yeah, to be expected everyone wants a cut. You bet it would make mme feel better. 85 vs 60 is a couple of beers.
Sorry, I meant $60 without fees or $40 ticket with $20 fees.
I don’t care how they present the price, just how much is hitting my bank account at the end of the day.

Any word on Metlife art? Scalpers get there so goddamn fast so I’m trying to hustle one out.
Nothing yet. Hershey was released by this point on Friday.

Yeah I'm heading after work so have a light rain jacket in case. If the rain starts after 3-4 beers in I'll be grand! Is it a tough place to get out of? Going for the first time from Downtown Brooklyn
Unfortunately yes. Some fans leave prior to PC to beat traffic.

It’s going to keep changing all day. Hopefully it’s nothing too bad. I’ll be there tonight. MetLife is isolated so shows can go long.
Show poster looks cool. Fortus posted it. Don’t think I can get there in time to grab one though. Might have to be eBay unless someone here wants to help out
That’s not the official one fyi.

The rumor was radio, I wouldn't put much stock into it as it was an anonymous FB post.
That’s all I need to set my hype-meter at 11. LFG

I’m in. I’ll make the drive for $60 tickets. But damn, a third of the total was fees, if ylu are grabbing the $25 tickets (why!!??!), the fees would be as much as the ticket. Fuckers.
It’s so that your anger is directed to Ticketmaster and not the band or the venue. Would it make you feel better if the ticket was $60 without fees?

he called a tour "not in this lifetime", so for sure he can joke with this!
I unironically believe the name of the tour and the lithos are the best thing the band has done in the past decade.

I love this. The band or the label screwed up but it’s your fault if you discuss it or listen to it
Exactly. I understand that there are concerns about copyright takedowns, etc. ….but they took down the rolling stone article!

Just now, Spike Killer said:That seems like an odd response. You were banned for mentioning that a new tune was an available on a jukebox at a bar? Seems overkill.
Message from mod:
“The track was not yet intended to release, regardless of this mistake by the distributors. The actions of the leakers and people who spread awareness of the accidental release directly affects what happens in the GN'R camp, in negative ways.
The PSA posted at the top of the subreddit was an attempt to keep bans at a minimum. Unfortunately, your actions do fall under what was warned against. However you received only a temporary ban because though it is rule-breaking behavior, it is obviously not done out ill-intent or maliciousness.”- 6

They let gnr run the subreddit, that's what's wrong.
Ya, I got banned because I stated “It was officially released on a legitimate platform. You can legally listen to this song right now” in response to a post. When someone asked where I said touchtunes. That’s it.
AND it was just in response to someone else’s post that was just a link to the Rolling Stone article. That got removed too. It fuckin sucks over there.- 4

What time do you think GNR will take the stage? What time have they been goin on the last few shows of the NA tour?
also - any idea what time curfew is at metlife?
Setlist.fm lists them out. I’d expect ~7:45

I have been keeping my eye on ticketmaster and there were hundreds of seats in section 1 and 5 on the floor (side sections) and I was looking if they were going to reduce the price on them further and they oddly disappeared in the last hour
They could be moving people there and blocking off the top levels.

I was just about to say… I feel like shows are rain or shine, but we’ll see. MetLife in the rain.. I’ve been through some nightmares there in those conditions. Nightmare without rain to begin with..
Rain or shine yes, but lightning they have to delay.
As far as pushing dates on such short notice, there’s a lot more work into doing that than you’d think.

In the UK trying to get Touchtunes working and the app won't let me add credits except by using Paypal which I don't have. Anyone had similar issues or know how to get around this?
It’s been taken down, don’t bother.

It required no more effort from the band than live clips would. They spent a bit of money by hiring a firm to do some AI work, but I wouldn’t call that effort. I don’t blame them, music videos aren’t really relevant to classic rock acts, but this is nothing.
