Where is the best place to drink before the show?
Sluggers has batting cages up top, that could be fun.

I might have done a thing See y'all on Thursday - so much for Hershey being my last straw. This fucking band, man
You did the right thing. Tickets are dirt cheap, Wrigley is infinitely more cool than Hersheypark Stadium and Axl is actually sounding passable. See ya there!

Hey man. This happened with my friend a couple of years ago when he bought tickets from StubHub for The Killers. Tickets never got sent to him and he had to wait a few days for the refund to be processed. If you stay somewhat local and you have the cash spare, you'll pick one up no problem at the venue and then you'll be reimbursed in full after a few days worst case scenario, though I hope you get it sorted on the phone!
I bought a double-sold ticket for GnR in Hershey in 2017. After some phone calls all at the venue, I got a refund AND a new set of tickets for free AND stubhub credit in the value of the original purchase. Stubhub will look out for you if you are polite and persistent.

Ha, I am only here for lithographs and vinyl(s).
Any more tidbits you can drop about the vinyl(s)?

Well that was unexpected. I figured people would kiss his ass which is better than the usual bashing since none of us know him or Beta in real life really.
If vinyl is being pressed I'd imagine that bodes well for an album since as others have mentioned, plants are backed up for months. Can't imagine they'd just press an Absurd single that would only appeal to the hardest of hardcore fans.
Anyway @Fernandohow about giving us a scoop? Forget Rolling Stone this is the largest online Gn'R fanbase.
I wouldn’t completely rule out it being just an Absurd 7” or Absurd/Hard Skool 7”.

The GN'R opener I would have loved to have seen was Sturgill Simpson. I think be opened Denver in 2016 or 2017
Miami I believe as well. Seeing him with Willie Nelson in September for the first time.

This whole thing is bonkers. I understand we don’t know the FULL story, but it’s hard to not immediately side with the artist on this.
Why does GnR need to fuck up the ONE thing that they were doing sorta well with. Let artists sell APs…what’s the big deal?

They absolutely should limit lithos. This isn’t anything new for other artists/tours
They should also make them available on their online tour store for a limited time and just print them to order
If anything, they should be a little peeved that people are flipping them to a point where fans are getting gouged on their merch and more for them that they aren’t seeing the profit
Having it as an “add-on” to ticket orders always made sense to me. Plenty of people would do that even if the design wasn’t finalized.
Its a win for the buyers because they get the litho safely delivered at retail without having to carry it around at the show, and it’s a win for the band because they would have a more accurate idea of demand. They could even limit initial orders to the week tickets go onsale, to drive early sales. Any leftovers could be sold at shows.

Haven’t been keeping super up to date, but as someone who got a record player over pandemic, what do you think the odds are we see a physical release of the single?

I enjoy all the excitement of never-before-heard songs being dropped but if I could only have one it would definitely be bringing out Matt Sorum for a prolonged, unenjoyable, 26 minute drum solo.
That's just me.
Yup, that is just you Kev.

Seems to be a theme now with sports. Interesting…
Also soundcheck starts in 3 hours! I say if they DONT soundcheck HardSkool with Axl today then we can forget about them playing it tonight. If that’s the case, hopefully we get Absurd again, at the very least.
Did they soundcheck Absurd before playing it? Tbh I’ve been a bit out of the loop.

Absurd for sure. Bar I’m at is playing Sturgill Simpson pretty loud so it’s tough to separate.
