have they announced any openers for any of the shows at all? and is this the first tour they havnt announced whos opening before selling tickets?
I don’t believe they announced prior to the 2020 tour that didn’t happen. And they didn’t announce any before 2017 Us arena tour (there weren’t any).
I’m sure someone else can provide a more exhaustive answer.

Big discounts.

Still pit available 25 min after start of sale for Fenway Park. Makes me think the demand isn’t there due to the high prices. I’m gonna be severely pissed if I pay $300+ for pit only to see it drop to $150 closer to show.
Prepare to get angry

Certainly not a new album.
We’re still in the blue sky stage. Once they announce that the surprise is Tyler Bryant as opener for all dates we can start to complain.

“Guns N' Roses will be unveiling more news and surprises soon. Get ready!”
Possibilities could be openers, new dates, new music. Any other ideas?

Maybe. However, their demographics are people 35 and up. A lot of people this age have jobs. If not jobs then are on vacation. To me, it just doesn't make sense. I don't think MetLife will be a sold-out show.
Rammstein did this last year at MetLife Stadium. Their concert was the Tuesday after Labor Day. It wasn't sold out until they heavily discounted the tickets. Even then,it still wasn't a sold-out show. You make great points, but I think the lack of sell out can be attributed more to the fact that they’ve played this venue three or four times recently and less due to the day of the week.
Hershey Rd. 3 is also confounding.

I don't understand the logic of playing on a Tuesday night in the second best market in the United States. Why would you do the Hershey Show on a Friday night? The MetLife show should have been on August 11 and the Hershey show on August 15th. It's just mind boggling to me and makes no sense.
Higher population means easier chance of sellout. Lower population, like Hershey, means they have to do more to entice people to go.

He recanted Pittsburgh and updated to the Tuesday announcement. Seems like this is still a bit in flux which is interesting.

Why are people so certain it's GNR related? All I see is roses and no guns, plus today is valentine's day
There’s a document breaking down the vehicle sponsors. His was “Guns N’ Roses”.

Someone on the GnR subreddit noticed GnR is sponsoring driver Erik Jones’ car in the Daytona 500 this weekend. Maybe it’s just for fun, or maybe it’s in support of promoting a tour or release.

I’m not saying it’s too late, but both artists that were just named (Beyoncé and TRS) tour less frequently and have larger fan bases than GnR.

According to this the show in Vigo, Spain would be on June 12 and the band is asking for 3 million dollars
If true, that’s a ridiculous asking price for them.
Edit: it’s not. Or at least it’s in line with what they’ve been paid.

Jesus F Christ, guys. Do you know what doesn't happen when the band is on the tour? Working on a new music and/or album, that's what. I'd bet even if they toured 10 years straight, some people would still post stuff like gee, I hope new dates will be announced soon!
They can't be at two places at the same time. Standing on a stage = not sitting on your ass and creating music or standing in the studio, recording. Please get it.Plenty of bands are capable of touring AND writing new music. They’re only on stage a handful of hours a week tops. Please get it.

Rockville announcement coming Wednesday at noon ET.
edit: to clarify it’s the lineup announcement. No clue if GnR is part of that

The big issue to me here (which probably has been covered but I'm not reading all of this shit) is that yes, there is a big backup at pressing plants but the fact that we are getting that long of a wait means that they have no clue what the fuck they are doing in terms of planning. They should have sent these to a plant early this year and had it ready for the tour or at least RSDBF. To me, it just paints the picture of a management team flying by the seat of their pants. Honestly, no one will give a shit about Hard Skool by 6/2022.
Not to mention, money absolutely allows artists to “cut the line”. If this was a priority, we’d likely be getting it sooner.

Agree. At least it saves me the stress of going early to snag one.

why would they replace a new single with a new single?
Why do they do any of the things the way that they do?

I’m shocked prices still haven’t been touched that much for this show. Still large pockets of seats at original retail.

Easy if you’ve followed this band. Don’t expect anything and you’ll have a good time.

I have high hopes for everyone attending. Personally I wish they’d wait on hard school, play some UYI deep cuts and bring out one or two of Gilby, Izzy, Sorum to join them. The AFD show at the forum was a bit of a let down so I’m kinda hoping they redeem themselves tonight by doing this.
maybe I’m in the minority. I won’t complain with hard school though!
Hard School, UYI deep cuts OR a guest would be more than I’m expecting. I’m just here for a good time with the best band inside the Friendly Confines. Once you expect more, you get disappointed.
