they should  do whatever ed sheeran did.(metlife stadium)

    4 tickets for $100.

and discount the lower bowl/floor( some sections at Metlife are $80/60)

They’re getting there. They’re at 4 tickets for $125 plus fees, and under $100 gets you into lower bowl.

they missed so many chances to move tickets  like the  $20 all in tickets.

or the current 4 for $80. promo

I believe those are just for Live Nation run venues.

That said, many of these venues DO have comparable deals going and they’re still not selling.

I would be happy to pay face value for a ticket to support the band that I love.  But i guess in this economy people want lower ticket prices.

Pit was close to $500 for face at a venue that they’ve played three times already. That just doesn’t make sense. (MetLife).

They better start dropping prices very soon. Some of these shows have entire sections unsold.

Insane that they haven’t cut prices more. Even more insane that people paid face value when they went onsale (and some even more for Platinum and VIP).

It's predictable only because we're keeping up with every show.

And because they’re not really changing the setlist much show to show.

For the record, I plan on going to one show and I’m VERY excited about the news songs on the set. I just don’t think we should pretend there’s nothing more they can do.

What? What's arrogant about advising us that it will take a while before we get new music? He isn't supposed to talk about these things, so for him to say this is just kind to people asking him.

Ya, let’s not shoot the messenger. Fortus has 0% say over the set. Getting any info at all is a kindness.

I don’t get people keep expecting them to play a new song at a random show. Yes, the happened with absurd, but hard skool was released before played live. That’s the most confortable scenario for them (or Axl, at least).

Because it was sound checked. Because it has been teased by Slash. Because out of the two “new” songs, 50% of the time they played it before it was released. Its only a matter of time before it does get played, so why not London?

Am I the only one who is worried that we go back to staleness? They were shuffling much more on their first dates than now.

Bad Obsession, PTU, Down on the Farm are all nicely locked in. I wish there was more rotating too, but I’m not going to complain too much now that they’ve tossed us a solid bone.

Everyone here cumming their pants at the idea GnR are playing bad obsession and pretty tied up. Pull yourselves together. They will butcher them. We want new music and progression, not a slightly worse version of something we already had.

I understand they've given us so little, that even a cup of piss tastes like fresh lemonade after a day stuck in the desert. But it isn't enough if they're not given us a new single at least. Just one!

Many people want both of these things. So the possibility of even getting one is exciting. Plus the presence of one doesn’t necessarily indicate the absence of the other.

Shouldn't GnR be on this list if the shows are selling as poorly as people say?

I truly don’t understand this. All they need to do is make ~100 tickets available for $25 at the worst selling venues and you immediately get a bump in clicks/eyeballs. Plenty of venues have already reduced prices.

I just looked up Aerosmith prices, thought it would be a fun concert to attend with my dad in Detroit, but at almost $300 each for the cheapest tickets... can't swing it.

Guns isn't going to Detroit this year. Any other gigs in that area anyone knows about that would be fun?

Could have sworn I saw upper levels/behind the stage for $90-120

the tour is still   selling poorly.

the band will not play stadiums again in the US after this. ( i think change of venues are in the cards)

That’s what I thought last time, but here they are playing MetLife, Hershey, Wrigley and Fenway again. I have no problem waiting for week of the show to buy my tickets at the price they should’ve been listed at to begin with.

Every tour has the same old "it's not selling well, they won't fill the venue" discussion and every show ends up at least decently filled.

There are certain venues that I think they will need to paper incredibly hard. Only LiveNation can really determine whether these shows are “successes” or not. Then there are other considerations, such as merch and concessions.

I don’t think LiveNation is stupid enough to book a tour that won’t turn a profit - but some of the optics are downright puzzling.
