Yeah - rescheduling back in, say, April seemed realistic. It seemed ludicrous that we wouldn't be back to normal within a year. Now they haven't done so yet, it seems somewhat unrealistic. Obviously we don't have any idea of what may happen, but i'm not sure going to the effort of rescheduling only to have it cancelled again is worth it right now?

Some news will have to come today though, surely, following Ticketmaster's emails.

Everything is changing so quickly, that I can see this as a way to cover their bases. If everything miraculously clears up in 6-9 months they can go out and tour...if not they can push back another year. But who is realistically holding their tickets and not getting a refund?

So is everyone expecting that there will definitely be some kind of announcement from Live Nation tomorrow about the U.S. tour?  Or is it possible tomorrow comes & goes with no update?  It seems crazy to me that they keep people waiting this long to see if they can possibly get a refund.

It seems equally crazy to me that a tour on this scale would be planned and followed through in 2021.

That said, I think we could see an announcement today, but I’ve learned never to expect anything with this band.

I don't see why they can't put up full shows. They have all the video and audio sitting there.

Could be rights issues with covers. Could be they don’t want to broadcast spottier songs. Could be that they realize a shows are super long and they want this to appeal to casual and die-hards.

So I requested a refund from TM and this is their response...

so no refund until a new date is announced. Could be months before we know. Pretty pissed off tbh

Thanks for sharing. I submitted for a refund as well and told them that no new date would work, and that I’m from US.

Notice they say “asked”. I think we can press hard on this.

To be honest, you can't blame event organizers for not refunding. This isn't just canceling of a random tour or event. This is a crisis like there hasn't been any before. If all organizers in the entertainment sector have to pay back everything, they will go bankrupt. Simple as that. Same goes for airlines and basically everything in the tourist sector.

I don’t necessarily expect them to act normally, because it absolutely isn’t a normal situation. But if individuals are expected to have a savings and emergency funds, so should these companies. I’m fine with them “rescheduling” or offering credit to mitigate refunds, that’s to be expected.

Just so you know, Ticketmaster UK appear to have reneged on their own terms and stopped refunding rescheduled events

So if you end up with a new date in 2021, don't be surprised if they tell you that you can re-sell the tickets on their ticket exchange but can't have a refund.

You also can't sell tickets on their exchange if you live outside the UK

I appreciate the heads up. I’m outside the US and that’s bullshit. We'll see what happens but I have no problem disputing that charge if they won’t refund.

Here's the Ticketmaster info on rescheduling and refunds. I'm sure I read somewhere else that you get a full refund with fee's.

Had an STP show get refunded and it was absolutely seamless. TM for all it's bullshit is pretty simple and fair. It’s my DC to London flight I’m more concerned about. Feel like they may try and force credit on me or delay the refund.

Guys I am 100% positive that it does not apply to singles, I remember Steel Panthers lead single off their last album and KALEOs latest single Break My Baby appear in the middle of the day checking spotify when it wasn't there before couple hours before

Same for Glass Animals’ recent release. It gets released when they want it to.
