It's sitting there in the amazon music playlist but I can't listen or download yet. :/

The worst is, of course, The General.

F'n fludity for all!

The one thing The General did for me is that I really don't care anymore about anything related to the Chinese leftovers.

Sheryl Crow - Evolution (Deluxe) is really good.

The way I see it, “What If” has been the story of GnR since Lies
What about the Illusions?

After all there has to be a reason why he went to the studio in the first place, right?
edit: maybe there will be some kind of bonus disc in a potential deluxe edition with songs and singers who didn’t make the final cut.
Yeah, that's what I hope for. Steven was great on Honkin on Bobo, it's right up his alley and he loves Slash

Hopefully this record leads to some more cool collaborations. This first one was amazing and Steven Tyler was a big part of it. A song with him as vocalist would be even cooler, though.
Hopefully they did another song with Steven on vocals while he was in the studio? It's possible.

Sucks to hear that he has health issues. Hope things are better for him going forward.
This band is cursed when it comes to lead singers, man… Lzzy Hale is awesome tho. Glad they got her.
She's just filling in for a couple of shows, no?

If I was him, I most certainly wouldn't.

I was sending to my cousin who is a big Black Crowes fan so he could hear the clip of the Pusher. He is also a fan of Slash and some other artists on the album so he is looking forward to it and going to the show. In general, I have heard nothing but positive reactions to Killing Floor though.. Aside from one friend who thought Hardschool was pretty good, I haven't heard anything positive on the GnR relesases outside of this board. I really haven't heard much interest in those songs at all tbh..
I loved that Jam! hahah
I guess people just hear/ feel these GnR singles are somehow off/ unnatural and simply don't sound very good. The General is just ridiculous, I expected more (negative) reactions, but not many people give a fuck at all at this point if the product is of this quality.

Slash, come on lad. You’re the lead guitarist in one of the most successful bands of all time. Surely you are able to give more info than this. (Or is he? )
8 years with 4 singles. Kinda baffles me. Very slow year for Guns. Keeping my interest elsewhere with Pearl Jam and Kings of Leon releasing new albums. Also going to see PJ live for the first time ever this year!
It's the Axl show, that much is very clear. It's all on him, just like he demands.
That's bad for the band, bad for the brand and bad for the fans but that's how it is.
Slash is as honest as possible regarding GnR.

I've decided to not listen to these snippets but I hope there will be a second single before release.

the close to climaxing sex noises are a turn off for you iirc heh. I like the song too, the vocals I don't have an issue with, even if they're not exactly what you'd call traditionally good, especially from Duff, but I wouldn't change it personally. my favorite part of the song is Slash's leads with that tone
This! The lead tone alone makes this song worth listening to. The tune really is pretty cool musically, vocals are the worst part and bring it down.

I'd put rock the rock top of the pile... and I'm not even being one insincere there😂
As far as Andrew Watt goes, he got a half decent album out of Ozzy Patient no 9... the other one did nothing for me. The RS record isn't my cup of tea and I haven't heard the PJ record yet... but I can of know his MO and the style/sound of record he tends to make and I just imagine it would sound like 10 Hardskools which would be best 6/10. I think we can wish for better while we're dreaming.

As Axl said, they should be considered working titles.
I just don't hear anything in the leaks that is worth fucking around with it for decades. The leftovers released so far are mediocre at best, some of them are pure garbage. It just makes no sense at all to continue with this approach, imo.

Best to worst:
1. Killing floor
Love everything about it.
2. Perhaps
Feels incomplete, like half a song in a way.
3. Hard Skool
Had some fun with it, but the lazy copy & paste and awful production killed it in the long run for me. The demo was much better.
4. Absurd
I still think it's hilarious they put this out as the first song after Sluff's return and will always have a soft spot for this/ Silkworms. I never put it on now to really listen to it, of course.
5. The General
It's the worst song they put out, ever. I hate everything about it, it just sounds ridiculous, especially the bridge and the whole ending section. Axl's worst studio recorded vocals, gives me a headache. The video compliments it very well.
Never really listened to the Barbie song.

Great points. By now, I'd imagine they have complete versions of Zodiac and Quick song as well, and Berlin/Oklahoma.
I just hope they finally threw it all in the thrash and moved on. These song titles make me wanna puke at this point. XD
