Ya know I was thinking. If Slash is touring without the conspirators and is just going to tour on this album I wonder if he is going to be playing these shows as a support act.
What if he is going to replace the black crows on the Aerosmith run since they are doing their own tours now
There are rumors of the rescheduled shows being announced soon and I found it weird slash didn't announce the tour dates along side of the album
That would be great!

Is it really, though? Disappointing – that means you were expecting it. But why? It’s not like Axl’s ever been a guest on any of Slash’s albums, is it.
Personally, I’m neither disappointed nor surprised, not even in the slightest.
The single sounds great, btw.
You're right. And Axl is not much of a blues guy anyway. Izzy would have been more fitting, that would have been very cool.
What's the bluesiest Gnr tracks anyway? Dust n Bones, Move to the city?

that would be Wylde. maybe too Wylde.
Zakk had a guest spot like that with Eric Gales, solo around 2:15:

The Killing Floor single and video did a really great job, I'm really looking forward to the album now.

I like the vibe of this! And love Steven Tyler's "yeeaah" screams in the middle of the harmonica. Why can't GNR make simple yet enjoyable music videos like this...?
Because Axl.

Decent video, he spends most of them time here shining the spotlight on everyone else and not himself which is pretty cool
I really love Slash's latest releases without GnR and SMKC

Cool video, nice vibe all around with this release!
Things can be so easy, easy.

I like everything about it. I was hoping Brian would stay in his lower register for this one, and he did.
His voice has a lot of personality. Slash sounds like he had a lot of fun with this. Steven does a fantastic job.
The song is a standard heard many, many times before but it's just a cool tune.
What's not to like?

What about these tubescreamers. Does anybody have personal preferences or do they all sound the same?
Asking for a friend…
Well, I'm glad you asked...

well... some of it is shit. like the youtube clip you posted to support your silly factually wrong assumption that all tubescreamers sound the same
But they all do sound basically the same and there's nothing you can do about it.

I've used a bunch of tubescreamers in the real world and imo there is a difference. why are we talking about this.
Don't know, s'all good man

maybe to you
It really doesn't matter in the real world which one you choose, imo.

do you know which type? was there a rig rundown or something?
They all sound the same

I really hope I will enjoy this, bring it on!
With all the Conspirators boredom and the (to me) disappointing to terrible stuff GnR put out, I'm ready for some great Slash music.
Love the Dandy Warhols tune, so there's still hope!

Bought the album Fire & Gasoline on release, never really fell in love with it.
There's a good version of Suffragette City on it, but Steve's original stuff is rather meh.
I did u no wrong is the highlight, Axl sounds great.

I see no difference as well on my phone

Was just thinking this. I thought I just didn’t like his voice, but then I listened to Alter Bridge and now love it. Never quite warmed up to the Conspirators
If only Myles was more of a dick like most lead singers we would probably have a lot more cool Slash music to listen to because he would have teamed up with somebody else three Conspirators albums ago. Damn you, Myles!

This song is really growing on me, I think it's super cool.
I like this more than everything he ever did with Myles, unfortunately. XD

Hints for what?
Axl knows very well how Slash operates and that he likes to write, record and release new music.

I’d rather have Izzy’s idea with him snd Duff sharing lead vocals. Izzy, Slash, Duff and Matt… you don’t need anything more
That would have been the coolest option. :/

1) Hard Skool with extra bell
2) The general extended version (2 hour jam in the middle)
--encore--
3) absurd (acapella)
4) the general again
5) wichita lineman (band introductions, Axl introduces Adler as Nacho instead of popcorn)
Absurd acapella would be VERY entertaining, brillant idea!

Agreed. I've never heard another bands leaks, even if i hear about a song leaking, i know in 6 months it'll be out properly anyway. With GnR it might be the only chance we ever have to hear these songs. Can't blame a starving man for stealing bread.
This.
The "New Album" Thread. Thanks to the long ass thread, I’m going home!

That's probably all they are capable of as GnR. Not very exciting, to put it nicely.
