I named my Fantasy Football team: The General..... Now I look stupid.

We've heard snippets of The General, from the 2022 Soundcheck ( mystery song). Sounds like they took the ending, from Berlin and added it.

Here's my corny 90's music video idea for Perhaps.. You see Axl get on a train.... sits down with Beta, Vanessa and Fernando. Then the train takes off with song the starting to play. Show's Axl looking out the window of the train, while Team Brazil is having a conversation with themselves. while he's looking out the window, it cuts to old clips of GnR on stage, behind the scenes footage... ( thinking about old times). Then it cuts back to the train and the camera's goes row by row... with Duff and Slash sitting in one row... 4tus, Dizzy, Frank, Melissa in the other... then it show's 2016- 2022 clips of the band performing and backstage... Then it cuts back to Axl looking out the window smiling... then the songs fades out.... while you see back of the train continuing to it's destination.

For almost 4 minutes a radio premiere took me back to when I was 8 yrs old. What a great song, it's classic Guns N' Roses this is the best song since Better... I hope it's promoted well.. and people take notice. Then again.. in this day N' age... I'm not holding my breathe.

You'd think they would just go ahead and release the countdown clock today......... Keep the same countdown promo, with the different date for this Friday.......... NOPE. Especially after the weekend with touchtunes...

I checked the touchtones app out, and I could head over to Gene's Tavern to listen to it. I settled for the soundcloud. I really like it! much better than Absurd and Hard Skool. My theory on the release fiasco. - Aug 11th was supposed to be the release date. Until everyone found the linkfire and they pulled it back. - I don't think the touchtone is by accident. I think they were probably the first to get it.. When we either get an announcement from GnR Monday or Tuesday. - This was probably their Plan B. - Or I could be an idiot and totally wrong.

The U.S. market for rock music is pretty much dead. Country Music ( aka Pop Country) has completely taken over along with hip hop. Perhaps has single written all over it... it's radio friendly. It just needs major promotion to get a blimp on radar, with the previous genre's... I've listed above. You would pretty much have to go the Foo Fighters route... always in the press... talk shows, etc. I just don't see GnR doing either or... Can you blame management? yes... ultimately it's up to Axl, he can do whatever he wants. This isn't the late 80's or early 90's.... I think Perhaps can do well..... I've always had the idea of having it being played in a series that's on a streaming service. Something that people watch alot and they hear the song, play during a scene and go " oh I really like that song". Oh it's Guns N' Roses new song? i'll have to check it out. Nowadays you really have to be creative... Hopefully it comes out Friday or the next.

I don't know how to post photos... I checked my Spotify app, and did a search of Perhaps.... it's showing Guns N' Roses and i'm from the US. it's coming!

Better, Hard Skool, Perhaps. All radio friendly, first single material. Hoping Perhaps, brings some major promotion and popularity.

Perhaps will probably be released first. My whole thing if I was the band's manager. I'd release Perhaps, this upcoming France show... work a deal with a streaming series and have the song play during a episode. Have it released on Spotify as well... Perfect time this week... since there's no major sports going on.... could gain alot of attention, during a slow week. Would give some people time to plan a month out for the US Leg and boost tix sales. I'd debut The General during the US leg and there's another new song.... Then release State of Grace and Atlas at the tail end of the US tour and drop a 4 song EP.

Could it be that The General is the mystery song, from last years soundcheck? They could have reworked the song, took parts from Berlin and added it to the song?
