DLR is a hard listen whoever his being interviewed by. His lost the plot bat shit crazy. He doesnt answer questions and goes off on his own direction. I listen to alot of Joes pods but that was one of the toughest to get through. Still Axl has far more he could bring to the interview table and is more of a intellectual then the ex junkies/drug addict mentioned. Axl also has humour and by all accounts likes to talk for hours on end. Axl did invite joe and his family backstage at greece. Not everyone mixes it up with friends/family back there.

I think Joe would dive more outside of Axls music and more into Axls other interests, life and him as a person. All honestly I think Axl would enjoy that more than hearing the same music questions from Marc Maron or other mentioned music focused interviewers.

Cant try and discredit extremes music when Richard has put out nothing that has even sold 10 percent of what they have sold. More people would know who nuno was then richard fortus. Even after guns massive tours a majority dont know him or think its Izzy on stage. Saying that though this is a childish internet argument on both guitarists sides. No one is impressed with who can or cant play a lip syncing pop artists shitty music.

You failed right there being 31 years old so probably have no idea. Extreme were huge in the early 90s selling more than 10 million records. Being on the freddy mercury tribute. Had lots of radio play with other songs like Hole Hearted, get the funk out and yes more than words. Nuno is a highly regarded technical guitar player and alot of players consider him up there amongst EVH capabilities. More people know Nuno then who richard is (barely anyone even at the gnr shows). Saying that he should have just owned up and said he worded it wrong instead if being defensive. He came off very immature. Personally I also see them both as sell outs playing for Rihanna.

Idk for me Axl really struggles with hardskool live so I am not a fan of it in the set. Nails absurd live though.

I think thats definately part of it with the tone but I think he may also have changed his amp setups and so on too. Also using those epiphone guitars and being tied to various equipment deals doesnt help. The other two things. First I have read Melissa that she fills the guitar/band sounds and adds to the playing through her equipment and second the chemistry with Richard may not be the best. Sometimes it feels like Richard and Slash are both competing for leads while you had someone laidback like say Izzy/gilby just happy being there supporting rhythm and letting slash be the man. The noodling, at times shred and overspeeding is all slashs doing though. The lack of bends too.

I dont care Im still a fan regardless of what he does in his personal life. Though his wearing of makeup, assless chaps other questionable clothing, touchy feely on males, no female relationship in years, cat hats and supposedly past 3somes with other other members is all questionable. I wouldnt be surpised if he was and thats the same as half of hollywood.
