  1. They don't really discuss money stuff with the public but I remember seeing Flea say several times that Josh's opinion weights the same in band meetings and is an equal.

They kicked Dave out because all 3 of them voted him out. AK couldn't kick him out alone, he kinda made them go "me or him".

No one is ever really deal lol Being that he was in the end of Solo, I was hoping he'd see more of him again. I need to watch Clone Wars...

Watch Clone Wars. There're some filler episodes that are basically like Obi-Wan and Anakin go to a planet and win without doing anything special but there're a lot of episodes that add A LOT to the whole Anakin story and a lot of backstory to the Jedi order and Siths. Also, it's fun on it's own :D

    Ughh... this again.

If Rey was such a "Mary Sue," why did she need saving from Kylo in her showdown with Snoke?

I honestly don't understand how people complain about this but give James Bond, Luke Skywalker, Aragorn...

It's insane that men give female characters such a hard time for being inexplicably gifted but don't seem to have a problem with male characters.

I have to get back to this. In LOTR movies we see Arwen ruin Nazguls as she summoned the big water wave and nobody questions her either. Nobody questioned Daenerys in GoT, as a matter of fact, people got mad after it turned out she wasn't perfect. Hell, Hermione in Harry Potter series was the most perfect of them 3

And that's only some of the biggest franchises

  4. I'm not an OG or even a prequel kid, I watched all of them in I-VI order when I was like 15-16 in 2005/6, somewhere around when Episode III came to the DVD and I didn't know what the people thought about each one, I felt like everyone loved every single prequel like the rest of them.

I liked the first 3 movies and thought they were entertaining but I didn't really get what's so amazing until the 4th one. Like I distinctly remember in the middle of the 4th movie thinking how I want to look into the Lego sets (big fan then and to be honest now  ) of Millenium Falcon and Death Star but I couldn't give a single fuck about Legos of young Obi-Wan or Anakin. Sounds stupid maybe but it really was like that. Darth Vader vs Luke vs Darth Sidious scene was an amazing experience.

Watching the new Star Wars movies don't feel like watching Star Wars, it feels like watching Marvel (I don't like at all) in S P A C E

Wonder how far along they were with the new album, and will they scrap it all now John's back.

RHCP already scrapped the whole album twice so far. Once in 2003/04 and once in 2015/16, they were never really short on ideas :D Even if they start now they can make it for the autumn of 2020 for sure

Bit of a dick move to Josh. But a band is a business and you gotta do all you can to keep the brand alive and well. They were skirting dangerously close to irrelevance these last couple of years. With Frusciante back, even if the next record sucks, their ticket sales will go through the roof and they will be a must-see act for at least 4yrs like GNR post 2016. It's all business people. None of these decisions are made for motivations anything other than financial!

They were just announced as headliners for Pinkpop, also for a stadium show in France and Greece, Firenze rocks and they are the headliners of Boston Calling with Foo Fighters. Don't think they slipped much really. They even performed at the latest Grammys together with Post Malone, the most mainstream thing you can do :D

I think it's just that John wanted back and it was always John's band and Josh and previously Dave Navarro were just replacements

I like where you are going with this but its inaccurate to look at # of different songs, it should be # of different songs as a percentage of their total catalog.  Guns catalog [while awesome in quality] isn't nearly as deep by way of # of songs as some of the others listed.

There're a lot of factors. % of their songs, how many covers, some of those bands rotate only 3 songs per set but in those 3 they can do literally anything... Pearl Jam can play literally anything at any point of the show etc etc

But it was really just to paint a picture of how many songs each band does

This will bomb so hard. Unless they keep the ticket prices reasonable. They certainly can't charge GNR prices.

Crue also signed a contract in blood or something saying they'd never play together again. But then again contracts aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Also doesn't Mick Mars have severe advanced boneitis?

It's a contract about how they won't play again unless it's a full reunion. It really was only about not letting one of them go and tour like NuMotleyCrue if someone dies or something

Again.. The setlists are fine.. They gradually change as the months go on. When they return to a city the next time around there have always been a handful of songs that weren't played the previous time they were there.. They have a few rotating slots. They do more than 90% of the bands out there to keep it fresh. That is a fact. The encores are mixed up. They busted out a handful of songs we never would have thought they would play. Sure they could shuffle the order a bit but people's expectations are way to fucking high..  Metallica basically tours with two alternate setlists and rotate them from show to show with maybe one additional flex song per night.

The band doesn't do everything right but to bitch about the setlists is just crazy considering they make more changes than most bands out there. Most bands play the exact same set every night for entire tours and then maybe only change 1 or 2 songs the next time they tour..

Found some random biggest tours list from a recent year so I'll take only rock bands and artists and how many different songs they did. Some of those are solos but it's not the point to be exact but to paint a picture. So basically only Iron Maiden is worse who don't change their set at all but they do have a huge production

    Metallica 71 in 149 shows
    GnR 46 in 175 shows
RHCP more than 100 in 143 shows
Pearl Jam around 150 in only 26 shows
    U2 46 in 67 shows
Bruce Springsteen around 140 in 78 shows
Coldplay around 80 in 112 shows (around 50 songs if we exclude a cover they do for every country)
The Rolling Stones 45 in 19 shows
Paul McCartney 80 in 52 shows
Iron Maiden 15 in 72 shows

Yes. It's clearly the best solution. Very effective. And not just guys. He should beat the shit out of some women as well, just like he did in his prime. Cell phones are really annoying.

Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age kicked a female photographer in the head so it's still acceptable. (he ruined it by apologizing though)

He kicked her camera which hit her in the face and she wasn't authorized to take any more pictures that's why it wasn't that big of a deal

I don't think we really had that many solid "albums" over the last decade. Nothing really comes to mind directly to say, "That's an all-time classic." You're almost better off listing the best selling, or big artists in each genre over the past decade.

Actually there're a lot of albums that are considered classics. For example: To Pimp A Butterfly, My Beautiful Dark Twister Fantasy, Lemonade, The Suburbs, Blonde, Carrie and Lowell...

Metal had so many great albums in the 10s. Albums from Behemoth, Ghost, Gojira, Septicflesh, Carcass, Power Trip, Between the Buried and Me, Mastodon... then there were a lot of metalcore bands like Bring Me The Horizon and a lot of good classic albums from older bands like Iron Maiden, Tool or Metallica

It's really only hard rock that wasn't good

    Are they making new music?

The last time they reunited, they got on their high-horse about not doing that, which is a real eye-roller.

They talked about having a great time on tour but having a miserable time in the studio so they decided they won't recording anything to not ruin relationships again  I wonder if they'll change their minds now
