genuinely wondering if this show will be cancelled due to poor sales? this is the worst i've ever seen at this venue.

First off I give GNR credit for not using tracks to hide Axls voice, most other bands would disguise it. So I do have some respect for what they are doing... or at least the balls it takes to put on a tour when your voice is shot.

"Why not enjoy it because it'll just be memories soon"... I think it's clear that it is just memories already. Unless he does something drastic after this leg ends he may as well retire. He's not doing the songs justice and he's not doing himself justice limping to the finish line. He doesn't need the money, why tarnish the legacy? 

"he's clearly working hard" I can see that he is trying. Full respect for that. But when there's fundamental issues, trying as hard as you like while on stage is not going to get you over the wall. He is gassed singing songs he should really be able to sleepwalk through. I understand when he introduces a new song, it might take a few turns before he gets his legs and works out his breathing rhythm... but Jungle etc. have been played every show for the last ever. No excuse. 

Can't just summon rasp. I'm not even expecting rasp. I'm asking that however he chooses to sing, it's confident and doesn't sound like he's being viciously strangled. He is not reaching that bare minimum requirement in my eyes and the majority of others that would listen to this. I will happily take 2002 Mickey Axl over this shit and I HATED that voice. 

As I said, enjoy it if you can... for me, it's well beyond my threshold. Hope he improves though.

 but the rest i cant agree with, the legacy shoulda have been tarnished with the "axl rose disaster" videos. but he went and sang his ass off with ac/dc. 

i get where you're coming from, but i think as long as casual fans want to see them, hes gonna keep going.

genuinely dont think he can improve anymore, save a moment or two, here and there.

God, he really needs to get his shit together... this is Vince Neil territory but at least Vince still has some of his trademark nasal tone. Axl sounds almost nothing like the record or even what he sounded like 6yrs ago. Without video would anybody guess this is the real Axl Rose singing?  

i've seen axl and vince neil several times live each. its what to be expected? its your money to spend! 

im all for axl singing with "rasp", but its not something he can magically summon, and hes clearly working hard what little ability he has, so why not enjoy it? cause soon we will have nothing but memories.

havent kept up w them as much this last year, but axl sounds like he found an easier way to get through the set, without much audible difference, and the band sounds awesome.

That was a terrible terrible rendition of Back in Black from a guy who did it better than anybody on earth a mere 6 years ago. Woof.

regardless of season, its a rainy state, why the hell do places with tropical weather still book shows like this!? isnt it still an insurance risk for there to be thousands attending  if a lightning strike happens????

axl matching toms cadence and tone in the verses is fuckin awesome and a testament to his real natural singing voice

AC/DC is NOT easy to sing, especially the BiB standard tuning stuff for a bass like Axl. He gave 110% and it's why his voice cracks nowadays.

Ive been workin on the 90s/UYI style vocals and would love to collab on a gnr cover w somebody here!

I'm just going off modern release schedules for big rock albums. single, another single shortly after, then a single to accompany an album. Guns has basically been following the Album/tour cycle that Slash does, but without the Album! the release of these singles is very very structured to the release of an album nowadays. just wishful critical thinking 

One more song next month then Album in november. WATCH

Watched some clips and am bummed they couldnt come to Toronto this go around. Hopefully next time! (Or ill go see them in occupied europe)

He’s straining/yelling through his throat to achieve that rasp, songs like its so easy/absurd however, he’s projecting from his diaphragm and not distorting his voice with his throat.

That technique he uses at that part is what ruins vocal cords.

The mix sounds awesome, CD meets the hard hitting nature of new Slash stuff! Song grew on me since I heard the 2001 version and the demo!! 
 

Even if you don’t like it, They’re back making shit in the studio, lets hope they follow this up with something else ASAP!!! 

I showed that Yesterdays video to my non gnr fan musician group chat and the responses were that Axl sounds awful and Slash sounds sloppy

However I have to give credit to the man for his 2010 performances. It was obvious that he still had a determination to prove himself to the world. Gasping was there, but rasp was there too. He was still trying to run like crazy to both sides of the stage. 

By 2012 that motivation was completely gone and the band was in full circus mode. It got worse and worse from then on.

Last time Axl could legit sing with his signature techniques and rasp was 2006-07.

RIP the glory days.

His AC/DC stint was IMO the best he’s ever sounded at points.
