Unfortunately gang, we've hit the end of Axls upper range. That bridge was baaad.

honestly I still wanna hear perfect crime more than hard school.
a proper studio recording would be the best way to experience new tunes short of being in LA and hearing it live with a suitable mix, not some youtube clip.

the song has good parts, but isnt a good song imo. the key change/switch to minor part just throws me off.

This place is a cesspool vacuum. There is almost zero difference between these ‘99 leaks and the album release. And, people here are praising some negligible difference with extreme hyperbole.
fuck man im in the audio business and this is worlds different. its like christmas. to each their own.
CD in particular, fuck its SO much better sounding. its the little things that make a big sounding album imo

Aaaaaaaand, Axl was right.
honestly, Axl basically works as a producer already, in the vein of bob too. it was ready to mix, these demos/unfinished tracks sound better than the current record FFS!

WOW this sounds so much better, prostitute still sounds like the final 2008 cut in terms of vocals, with less layering and pitch correction. just all around alot better imo. so much less bloat.
EDIT:
FUCK ME theres another mix thats even cleaner
-
so far the only prostitute leak i've heard was in a minute long clip, but honestly it just sounded like a remix or in progress version of the final version. I've fucked around and remixed the stems from CD and sounded similar. Is there a NEW version, with like added instrumentation!?

In grand rapids 2012 he came out and signed an autograph for everyone after the show, but it was a SMALL place and it seems the venues are bigger with harder to access artist entrances for this tour, so Im not sure if that would dictate his signing after shows.
He IS however pretty shy and quiet so you gotta respect that!
Side note if you meet Steven Adler he is the most genuine and awesome dude ever and REALLY easy to meet at his shows.

Man that Whole Lotta Rosie was pretty damn dreadful. Makes me wonder if him performing with AC/DC is even viable anymore. He didn’t even attempt the high notes.
Honestly it genuinely does just sound like he cant hear himself, and rosie isnt really a high pitched song for Axl in ACDC in standard, and Guns plays half step down

fuck the sound city sessions are sexy

its better, not a "loudness war" remaster, but damn it's just a bit more full and glued together to my ears. can't wait to listen through my monitors at home.

I saw that GNR show for be monday has least bands that play this day, only 7 bands.
Cause they play 3 and a half hours ! I wish more bands did this

Yo if there was a domestic that served whisky and cranked GnR the whole flight, I'd be down as fuck for the extra cash. Worth it. Except I don't fly much lol

I feel his clean voice peaked around 06
after 1:00 he’s nailing clean note after clean note, I think this was the vocal he was working towards
at :55 here again he’s really good with the clean voice here. When it returned in 2011 his clean vocals were weak and didn’t fit the songs anymore
now that i hear that shit again, he totally was nailing the clean voice with ACDC at times. especially during the arena leg.

Listen to TNT / Dirty Deeds from earlier in the tour and you will hear how much he struggled to put any rasp into them.
By the end of the tour, his lower range had more rasp - at the expense of the very, very high notes and his range overall.
I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it's much harder to sing Axl's falsetto-style on the lower-register tracks and still sound powerful. It's much easier to do it on the high notes which is why he shines on them.
No falsetto, just chest and head voice, his head voice is softer than most but now he's older so it's less powerful. Thus "Mickey"

i can't see SOYL making it in, since that song never even made an EP/LP. (plus its a risky song to sing those high vox live in stadiums considering it'll be a bathroom break tune). I can see an old UYI cut making it in, or shacklers lol... even a new song, which people hype up quite a bit to the point of a joke again like CD, but with these circumstances, Axl might just say fuck it and pop out a rockin GnR single with slash and duff high in the mix, he's sort of thrown caution to the wind anyways?
side note- shadow is wicked

Australia and thats how much new compact disk albums costed back then.
whats it like now? from my ignorant perspective it seems australia ends up having higher prices and more censorship on everything entertainment related

spotify at first, if it sounds good and not like a slash solo album in terms of volume war shit, then the 100 something box
