November rain sounds really good.

That YCBM 2022 video that shows the crowd at the ritz in 1991 shows the remastered quality of the old band and shows how amazing it would be as a documentary.

yeah Duff was so close to kicking the bucket, Slash was actually dead there for a few minutes and Steven's condition was shit. I feel really lucky as a fan that they're still alive.
I know slash died for a few minutes but I’m not talking about what happened, I’m talking about how they looked. Slash in the interviews he gave sounds and looks okay , even if we know he wasn’t. Duff just looks like shit and sounds it.

Just watching interviews from the band from the 1990s and it’s amazing how music press and given there weren’t smart phones and that stuff, and if you wanted to head about a band you had to read or watch about them and make the effort. It helped I suppose that MTV actually did what the name stands for.
And it’s a miracle that duff is still alive given how he looked at points in the 1990s. I mean the video for the garden he looks like shit.- 2

I swear in a clip of Axl ranting about Child abuse at a GNR concert, seeming like he was having a damn mental breakdown, he was giving off Kurt Cobain vibes. It was uncanny and eerie, but he definitely seemed to be embodying Kurt there. That clip was weird. Axl embodying Kurt Cobain, Axl's random rant about child abuse, the audience cheering when it seemed like Axl was having a mental breakdown on stage. Example "My Stepdad punched me in the face everyday when I was a child and my Mother just stood there and let him do that!" Audience was cheering wildly. It was creepy and disturbing. There honestly should have been shocked and concerned gasps, not wild cheering. 😕
That’s similar to when Britney Spears had a breakdown and shaved her head and Craig Ferguson on the late show wasn’t making fun of her, which he said in his book I think that because he didn’t want to make fun of her was was worried he’d get fired(which doesn’t reflect well of TV execs), and he spoke about his own battles with drink and how he had planned to end his own life in London in 1992, and the audience were laughing. It’s a weird thing.

The live outro in November rain. I think the pause helps to build the outro up.
The last three minutes of Coma may be the best three minutes of any GNR song. Axl is firing on all cylinders as are the band.
The intro to it’s so easy is just so good and so recognisable.I know there are more but those three off the top of my head stand out.

Best song ever recorded ? It’s not even the best GNR song so not sure that holds up.

Just to put on the record that the shortest british PM lasted 119 days and it wasn’t longer because he did his best impression of the Norwegian blue and died. I know this isn’t much fun and I’m only finding some humour in it because, well it’s not my country and government. I mean it does take some skill to go from Boris Johnson to Liz truss and she makes Johnson look competent in the space of weeks.

Great to see that the warning are opening for GNR in their home city of Monterrey, Mexico as when I heard that Axl and the lads were playing there I checked the warnings tour dates and it’s not listed there but it seems it is happening which is great as these young women are going places and will be huge.

being a fan of this band is a constant source of mindfuckery and disappointment
Please let that be the name of any new album and not Chinese democracy part II or whatever it might be called.

Happy 31st birthday to UYI 1 and 2 who were released on September 17th, 1991.

Listened to a non GNR album I bought when it came out in 1999 yesterday. It’s Eminem's marshal matters LP and damn it it’s interesting to listen to at least a decade after I last listened to it.

Well he’s now 60 which just in itself brings a level of maturity, and since the reunion with slash and Duff he seems happier which I personally think is that now slash and duff can help carry the GNR name and Axl probably doesn’t feel the pressure as much, and most importantly the atmosphere between the three seems naturally good and not a put on, which anyone who's not seen long time friends in a long time knows there’s a change in energy and you pick back up where you left off. That’s just my opinion on it.

Well god damn pal I’ve been a wrestling fan for the majority of my life and wwf/then WWE was my first experience of it and I always assumed Vince McMahon would keep going until he died but obviously the recent stories made that less likely. Hopefully Kevin Dunn is next out the door so the camera work on WWE TV and PPVs isn’t headache inducing with its constant camera cuts.

Just a bit of fun for those able to see it
AFD will always be a banger, and the greatest debut album ever imo
I can see it but can’t make who it is.

So it’s Sunak vs Truss. Good luck Britain.

So… Sir Mo Farah an Olympic gold medalist and by the fact he’s a sir, the British seems to like him, eh isn’t who we all believed him to be. His name isn't mo farah for a start and he was trafficked to the UK as a child. So who had that in their daily “well that’s news to me….” Sweep stakes ?

It most likely is just me but sorry at times sounds like it could be about a persons anxiety and all the inner thoughts. It’s how I’m feeling about it because some of the lyrics do tie in with that theme.

And after another shambles on messaging from No10 Downing Street, two high profile members of the cabinet have resigned this evening. Sajid Javid and the chancellor of the exchequer rishi Sunak have resigned.

Thinking of all the British posters who use trains and the underground normally. From seeing what train companies are involved in it, you’ll be lucky to even escape. Although those who use the southern region might not see any difference from I can gather.

vince mcmahon has agreed to step back from his responsibilities as chairman and CEO while the wrestling company's board investigates him for alleged misconduct.
In the meantime, his daughter Stephanie McMahon, will serve as interim CEO and interim chairwoman.

Never believed that he’d actually step down even if only temporarily unless it was in a pine box. Hopefully John Laurentius gets shitcanned if nothing else.

Time has definitely proven the Fed right. I’ve been seeing a lot of posts saying Tony should’ve washed his hands of him etc - I really do hope we see him back to his best regardless if he steps in a ring again. Health is wealth.
He and Matt have had amazing careers and have nothing left to achieve really. That dream match with the bucks was awful and Jeff is done. I think it was survivor series last year and he was in the traditional SS match and he looked in pain and him swanton bombing opponents by landing on them full force is up there with Randy savage in 1999 doing the elbow off the top and killing his opponent.
