The curfew definitely isn’t later than 22:30 and if they did break it the sound would just get cut.

There’s also the possibility that they know it’s going to be a shorter set because Axl’s voice has gone again.

They are making Aquaman wait
-
They’re actually later than last night now despite there being none of the problems.

The 18:45 start time never made any sense. 19:30 was always the logical time to go on.

Full concert in daylight ? no, maybe not. But if it gets dark midway through the show, then I love European summer stadium vibes.
Paris 1992 was the show that introduced me to how cool that can be. By the time it was pitch black it felt like you’d been on a journey.

From the streams you can tell there are issues with the sound but on Twitter how bad it is and how many are leaving because of it seems to depend on whether the person tweeting is a Spurs or Arsenal fan.

It is inevitable that the sound will be better tomorrow but Axl’s voice will be wrecked.

Well, Gary Clark Jr got to play to an empty stadium.
-
This is the first concert at the stadium but they’ve had two years of Covid delays to be ready.

I don’t mind So Fine either but anyone who thinks it’s better than Rocket Queen shouldn’t be entitled to an opinion.

I thought London curfews were usually 10:30pm. A 6:45 start seems a bit overkill. The pyro has gone, they’ll be getting rid of the lighting next.

In the videos I’ve seen Axl was on top form and Slash was having a great time during PC. Hopefully this carries over to the dates.

But why release something you know you can't perform live anyways?
It turned The Beatles into the GOAT.
Then again, I was watching Billie Eilish at Glastonbury last night and she basically mumbled a word every now and then over a backing track to receive five star reviews. You don’t even have to perform live these days. You just have to turn up.
She had lots of pyro to make up for the lack of thrilling music too…

It would probably sound better if they swapped parts for the solo.
But Slash will never play Robin’s solos as intended and Robin was largely the same with Slash’s.

The open shirt look is still a good one, surprisingly.

The chili peppers just shuffled their setlist from show 1 to show 2 lol
They could do two hours of impromptu jams and make it sound tight.

Justin’s constant bringing up of (and slight amazement at) Axl’s age reflects our own thoughts and fears. It sucks that Axl is old now but there isn’t a 60 year old who could successfully tour a three-hour GNR show without issues.
Axl sings until his voice is fried and runs around the stage until he’s out of breath. It’s commendable even if the results aren’t always what you want.

RIP
The classic era of Bon Jovi started and ended with him.

There’s no shame in not being able to sing Coma. The shame is sticking with it at the expense of songs he can sing.

They should just let Slash do a solo at the end of Coma. The instrumental parts sounded better than the bits where Axl tried to sing.

If they wanted to turn this into a win for fans, they could shorten Rocket Queen and KOHD but there’s no chance of that.
