  1. Actually WOF is well produced and album sounds better than live performances, the vocal layering they did (Myles with Todd) is really good and some of that magic is missing live. During WOF and Fortress recordings, Myles challenged himself with really hard melodies to sing (World On Fire, Bent To Fly, All Ends Well, Calm The Fire), he ages after all and during a 2h gig it's not that easy to sing them anymore. He even sings Starlight differently now... Actually I can't find a bad track after 9 years, even cuts like Iris of The Storm that I wouldnt listen to before I kinda like nowadays. This song is more GNR than actual GNR lol.
  2. Though Slash wasn't aware about the lyrics till the recording day. Great song from start to finish.
  3. I'm often coming back to the Live at 60 Studios, album just sounds bad.
  4. Who does those visuals? And is getting paid for it? Geez this is awful. Looks like a free template from youtube.
  5. It will make some sad and some happy, but it definitely needs clarification. This album is an extra project and it won't interfere with SMKC 2024 tour and another record with Myles after that. Have a nice day guys
  6. Imagine being a Metallica fan and not doing any of this shit you can read above.
  7. Said it before, SMKC will do a proper tour to promote '4' in Europe first, no new album.
  8. https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/record-labels/9605940/gibson-record-label-slash-album-2022 Gibson Guitar has just announced via Billboard the launch of their brand new record label, Gibson Records. The label’s first release in early 2022 will be the next album by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. THIS IS NOT the end of the news, stay tuned, later this evening (CET)...
  9. Sometimes I have this feel to share a video with you guys but there's no specific thread to do that. We all know that Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz made possibly the best rhythm section Slash played with since the GNR glory days. I think we need a place to post videos which prove their talent. There's also Myles, who - in my opinion - is on of the best lead singers walking on the planet. I gave some examples on the other thread (Citizen Swing - All the Same, Mayfield Four - Loose Cannon, AB work, playing with Gov't Mule). And Frank Sidoris... just wait for the solo: Todd Kerns - Guitar, lead vocals; Brent Fitz - keys, Frank Sidoris - Lead Guitar
