Axl was not at the soundcheck. That says it all for me, tonight is not the night, and anyone expecting it is causing pain to himself lol. -

He will only mention it if they play the song today, which I don't think, but it's possible. It would be too random to say something about that and then not go into the song lol. Not sure what he would even say then if not as an intro to it being played. -
I love the reactions here, one guy is saying Perhaps is no longer coming out friday, and just a couple posts below that you got people saying they think an EP/LP is coming now I think they simply uploaded the leaks to the detection system to take them down. Not because the songs are getting released soon. The versions they uploaded aren't even the final ones they would release anyway, they are the long oudated village ones, so who cares if they are in the system it doesn't mean anything. That said could anyone imagine how this forum would explode if an actual full EP with like 4 songs was coming Friday? They did put more work into this release, or atleast that was the plan (with the countdown), so maybe something more could be brewing, I mean why go the extra mile for this 1 song and not the 2 previous ones?

Did the poster say something about it, how was it presented as real? I mean what was it that gave it the impression it isn't fanart? I'm not sure you really need to clearly label every art you make as fanmade for it to not be removed.. This could again be tested by simply taking a random piece of art and slapping the GNR name and Atlas Shrugged on it, see if it gets taken down.

Someone could test if mentioning Atlas gets you banned or a warning, that way we would know if Fernando replied to the mods confirming it to be real to them. Because if simply mentioning Atlas doesn't get you banned/it removed then why would they pull fanmade art off the platform? The only option that is left then is that it is real, isn't it?

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=shoulda coulda woulda He could have also completely erased the entire recording like with the TIL demo in 1992. What's the point in speculating this way? There's 1000 scenarios if we go by what could have happened. It's better to go by what we know for a fact, and that is that it's probably not coming out with those lyrics it has, or had.

In my opinion it's a song that could have only really been released back then. In the context of when it was made in the early 2000s during the Kid Rock wave when it was cool, and Axl was still a guy in his late 30s/early 40s, it would have been passable. Now it would just be embarrassing to drop a song with Mack Daddy lines in it with Axl being 60. I believe even Axl realized this, so they atleast took some of the vocals and added it into Hard School so the vocals weren't completely recorded for nothing, and that's probably the last we'll ever see from Eye on You. That said I'm STILL in favour of releasing it just due to the hilarity of it and because it's ridiculous.

I think you misunderstood, I'm comparing what the band is doing now to what they did with songs like Breakdown in 1991. That's what's happening at the moment, just on a larger scale. They didn't work on only Axl songs back in 1990, unlike they are doing now in 2023. It just stems from the situation that Axl spent all these years working on this shit and wants it to not have been for nothing before he has any real will to work on anything Slash or the band gives him in terms of new ideas.

After which song in the set do you guys expect the speech about jukeboxes? -
I see what they're doing right now the same way as the Axl songs from UYI, like Breakdown for example, which is an Axl song, he gave it to the band and they worked on it. This is what's happening now, the band are working on Axl songs only at the moment, and once those are out of the way, we will get to the Slash written stuff..one day. Atleast that's the trajectory I'm seeing for future releases. At this current pace of 2 songs every 2 years that's not gonna happen maybe at all ever. I mean what reason was there to hold onto Perhaps for 2 years after Hard Skool, there is no rhyme or reason to anything.
