I don't think it's implausible that parts of SOG could have ended up on The General, and that SOG was a rough sketch of a song that was abandoned and then later parts were used from it, like with Eye On You and HS. SOGs style really fits Sebastian Bachs description of what The General sounds like very well.

It's just a bit absurd to me that people are already going into things like sound quality about a song they don't even know if they like yetWhat if it's the best quality sounding song you've heard, but the song itself listening to it leaves you with "meh", I'm still not going to go back and listen to a song I don't care for because it has great recording quality lol. I would rather first hope the song is something you will like first of all, because if it does nothing for you, what will being able to say "it has nice dynamic range" do for you haha. As an example Van Halens Balance is one of the best sounding and best mixed albums I've ever heard, but many of the songs just do nothing for me, so it's sort of wasted for me.

By choosing to only be able to order it on vinyl, and not even CD, it gives away that they want to maximize vinyl sales before puting it out everywhere,

Of course it will come out digitally lol, the real (and, lets be real here, ONLY) question is when, it could be right away, it could be in some weeks, or months, after the vinyl starts shipping, to push the sales of it, while blocking all uploads to Youtube Soundcloud etc with the detection software so it's not widely available until they decide to make it widely accessible. I don't think whether it will be available digitally AT ALL was ever a serious question to begin with, those people are smoking something wild.

Yes people got to stop with the "it's an instrumental" nonsense, it's like the GNR version of flat earthers at this point. It boggles the mind that at page 60+ I still only have to scroll up on the current page to see someone suggest it could be an instrumental. We've had Sebastian Bach DESCRIBE Axls vocals on the song, Brain said Axl sang on it, and most of all: we have the fucking actual audio leaked clip where you can hear the vocals. So if you are still suggesting that Axl wrote lyrics, recorded the vocals, removed them again (because he was like "nah" afterall?) you don't even deserve a reply lmao. Slash and Duff not being on it is slightly less padded-cell talk, but it's still a ridiculous belief that GNR will ever release a song without Slash on it after the reunion and possibly have Buckethead play all the solos. Are you for real, I don't understand how people can be so far out with these theories, it's not rooted in reality.

If anything it will be vinyl exclusive for the first few weeks or months only, to promote the vinyl sales. Not like it will be vinyl exclusive forever lmao. But until it's officially released digitally all uploads will be taken down from youtube, soundcloud etc. with the automatic detection software.
