Now now, you can't beat a bit of Judge Judy with your afternoon cuppa.

I admittedly did go through a phase of watching it excessively one day... it was strange...

See! I hope Axl realizes the shit we endure just to hear what he has to say, we're discussing Judge Judy for fuck's sake xD

    Kill me now.

I've noticed that too about interviews or any public appearance by him really. The only conclusion I could make is that he conserves every bit of his life force for those moments on stage where he goes absolutely beserk. Kind of admirable really.

Yeah, the best part was about Angus referring to Axl's mike-stand flying moves almost taking his head off during the first rehearsal with the band:lol:. Damn, its a pity that the AC/DC fandom are going to see an artificially subdued Axl. Their loss really.

Hopefully his foot heals enough so he can somewhat do his thing because seeing Axl and Angus perform together is like a dream team up of entertainment on stage. Especially since I think Axl would really take it to another level considering he's done that vocally.

From my perception it was basically hard rock/metal (Guns, Tallica, Megadeth, Crue, Maiden, DC) then sometime around 1995 it switched to Korn, Slipnot, Limp Biscuit and those terrible groups.

When Guns were at their height in the early '90s you used to see them in Look In and Smash Hits haha. It almost seems like an alien planet.

Slipknot are awesome man, they haven't released a bad album yet (even AHIG gave us Psychosocial and Snuff.) I'm not a huge fan of Korn but they're brilliant live and Jonathan Davis is a fantastic lyricist. Limp Bizkit are childish and cringeworthy, I'll give you that.

  4. Gotta say it's a beautiful thing to hear Axl singing Back in Black with that ferocity that we seldom hear from him anymore. He's gonna kick some serious ass on this tour and hopefully that passion carries over to the summer Guns tour. I think it's safe to say I might get a tad emotional when I see Axl/DC in Manchester next month. What a fitting song, he is most definitely back if he delivers live like he did in that rehearsal. The man is a monster!

  5. Ill be at the Manchester show, so glad i kept my ticket for this. I was gutted when I first heard that Brian was stepping down and jokingly said to my friend that the only way in Hell I'll keep this ticket is if they get Axl as a replacement... Then it happened. So stoked for this and for him to prove all the naysayers wrong. He's gonna blow them away.

I imagined option B with Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) as the replacement. That's something nightmares are made of. But yes I agree. The mainstream stigma that follows Axl after all these years is where he hate draws from. That and the fact ACDC is a long running power act with a fanbase that's diehard. Circumstances aren't good surrounding stuff that went down but might as well make the most of a bad situation and enjoy the ride. It's only happens once. I personally believe GNR fans will be pleased and the open minded and casual ACDC fans will be as well. But you'll always have the stubborn bunch who no matter what will always hate Axl whether it's for: Him being him, not liking his singing or being the "replacement".

But even they will have to aknowledge that he sounds awesome once he starts performing if those rehearsal videos are anything to go by. I mean he basically sounds identical to the album versions, hard to ask for anything more really.

Also, looking at the negativity on AC/DC's Facebook page, a lot of them weren't even aware that Angus had performed with GN'R a couple of weeks ago, which kind of baffles me, surely if you're a fan who cares enough to spout such opinions then a curious YouTube search would be high on your agenda? Apparently not, so as far as I, and many other fans who are still happily going to the show are concerned, they can go and fuck themselves.

I don't know anyone who considers themselves a fan of a band but who doesn't like their lead singer.  AC/DC fans bought tickets to see Brian on this tour, why wouldn't they bitch?

No I mean direct ignorant hatred towards Axl in particular, and suggesting other names instead who would nowhere near justify the price, like Angry Anderson and Joel O' Keefe, some are even saying a singer from an AC/DC tribute band would be a better fit... Yeah, having a guy dressed as Brian Johnson would be great... Those people grind my gears and there's thousands of them.
