New York New York is a great casino and the room rocked, but I hated the sound of the roller coaster each time it passed.  Rooms aren't very soundproof. ;)

Ah that wouldn't bother me at all, I very much doubt I'd be doing much sleeping if I went to Vegas haha, especially if GN'R were playing :P Hell, I've barely slept anyway and I'm not even attending haha!

Do you think the same set it's going to be printed for today?

I think that's all the songs that they're playing over the two nights, they'll just swap a couple for the alternate ones tonight. Most likely There Was a Time instead of Coma and like, Yesterdays instead of DTJ or something.

  3. Got to say I was thoroughly impressed with Axl's vocal delivery. You can tell he wants to push himself on songs that people rip him for. Like he purposefully added rasp to Rocket Queen and was obviously trying to on You Could Be Mine as well. Fucking great performance, problem with Axl is, the guy has superhuman talent, anything less than Paris '92 and most people consider it "shit." It's insane. But even when he's using what people call his "Mickey Mouse" voice, he's got better tone on it, he's obviously worked on his head voice. Also, was he trolling with that Mickey t-shirt? Haha! What a guy!

  4. If he did injure it in rehearsal, that is actually quite a good sign, in a way. He said "This is what can happen when you do something you haven't done in nearly more than 23 years." Maybe he's referring to a particular 'stage stunt' that he used to do back in the day, possibly that ridiculously high jump that he used to do (and actually injured himself then too). All I'm saying is, if he's not just talking about the reunion in general then it's a sign that he's really going for it performance wise. Like the old Axl. \m/

I saw there are seats where you are in an open walkway in a computer chair with a desk, they serve you drinks and you get your own monitor to watch the show on....now that is what you want to record

Yeah that's the "Paradise City" VIP area apparently. It's quite cool the way each VIP area has different perks, even if the prices are disgustingly extortionate, you'd have a completely different experience each time you went.

  6. Hey guys, new to the forum. Is anyone gonna record the full show from the "Civil War" seating area? That's right next to the soundboard and the perfect place to view the concert, acoustically it would sound the best a none pro shot could sound too. I'd love to be able to watch that streamed by one of you guys or even the next day.
