  1. Slash seemed to be really into it during the first performance at the Hollywood Bowl. My guess is that they were just having issues with the organization of the festival. Yes, I don't think many people would mind if he talk-sang the outro with his low voice. It would just be a different delivery and the audience would be able to hear the words better, too.
  2. Yes. And if it's a goodbye (for now) it means that they won't attempt to write new music any time soon.
  3. During the interview with Duff at Power Trip (around 9:20 minute mark)
  4. Melissa's tech, probably. It was both he and the keyboard tech filling in at the other shows Melissa was absent.
  5. It sounded like Axl wanted to say more about The General, but something happened that pissed him off. He was ready to say something, then he stopped and said to someone "Can't hear a word you're saying". And then, "Alright, so this is a new song. I would like to tell you how it's a new song, but... whatever. Okay, so this is called The General.
  6. I thought that the ending of Coma sounded stronger than usual.
  7. Yeah, I don't think it means "the end" or anything like that. But it probably means a long break (longer than a year).
  8. Axl: [During band introductions] ...And in absentia, having another bout with her pneumonia is Ms. Melissa Reese. Let me hear a bit for Melissa. Come on... [crowd cheering] We wish her a speedy recovery. This the last show of our tour of the year. I want to thank you for coming out and celebrating it with us. I want to thank our crew for everything they've done to make all of this happen... over the last seven years. I want to thank the band, I want to thank all of our team.
  9. Yes, it's thankfully not another SMKC album (for the time being).
  10. Slash said about a year ago that they had "one last tour" (meaning the 2023 one) and that would "free" them to work on new material. So I think there won't be any more extensive touring for at least two years unless they have new music to tour in support of.
  11. I don't think there are any rumours. It just makes sense that they're taking a long break, because Slash has a tour, and then a solo album and another tour. Plus the supposed plan to work on new GN'R music.
  12. Axl just thanked the crew for the last 7 years. I don't know if this means anything.
  13. I think they were experiencing technical issues.
  14. It was probably Melissa's tech. He filled in at the last show she was absent. He's on there only for some songs. Yes, exactly.
  15. There seem to be some technical issues. It probably wasn't their fault that they were late.
  16. Lol no, they haven't played it much this tour - I guess they did only when Axl wanted to take a break or whatever.
  17. I don't think he would release anything recorded during the CD sessions as solo stuff, because he sees it as GN'R, unless maybe piano instrumentals he wrote by himself. I was thinking more of other kinds of stuff, like covers or instrumentals since he likes movie soundtracks.
  18. It aligns with what I posted earlier about Eddie Trunk saying that he talked to Slash off the record and Slash told him that this last leg was his favourite since 2016.
  19. I think Axl just liked the idea of having two drummers. The first time there was an attempt for that was in 1997 when both Chris Vrenna and Dave Abbruzzese were rehearsing with GN'R. It also seems that there was a similar idea for the 2016 April shows with Adler playing some AFD stuff and Frank playing the rest.
