Came across a live recording of Gilby Clarke performing Knocking on Heavens Door live, tho not outstanding the energy seemed far beyond what we get from GnR the crowd are bouncing at the end ! It just seems more energetic.

Live performances now seem to sap all the energy out of them, anyone get what I'm getting at?

Yes I think Knockn On Heavans Door has been done to death by GNR that the crowd just go through the motions. Nothing will top the 90's performances. Maybe it's time to drop it or just play it alternative shows.

I'd prefer Dead Horse any day. The crowd can sing along to the intro/outro

So, I just watched the last DTJ from RIO and that was a much better video than this one.. High quality, could feel the vibe of the crowd and was a better overall performance on general.. Hopefully they can capture some of that in future videos..

I'd always expect a South American crowd to have more vibe than Salt Lake City.

RIO has much better camera work. The one on SLC was poor. Too many shots from Row Z.

It just seems like a never ending circle with this band. Fernando did this chat 11 days ago, and not once did anyone say in that chat “give us more cool merch.” It was all asking for more interaction and MUSIC in any capacity weather it be old or new.

6 days after this, they give us a Pandemic related piece of merch and then radio silence for 5 days straight.

Did anyone really learn anything? Does anyone really care anymore?

I guess we take away that we'll be in the same situation as this next year talking about the same thing. But we already knew this

Obviously Fernando is not very well liked here!   I am not too sure what being so negative will accomplish and as a new person here it has made me feel rather sorry for him.   I find it so disrespectful that somebody recorded this chat when he asked them not too, I would say it was non too honerable.

But who am I to comment as you have all been here a long while.

I thought he came across as a genuine good bloke. But way out of his depth as manager of a huge Rock N Roll band. He's clueless.

I was under impression we are all experienced enough not to expect full shows. But not to expect even full SONGS... Well, it speaks volumes. This is where we are now. Looking forward to the clips.

That would be crazy if week 1 we got a 30 second clip of Sweet Child.

'Enjoy Fam, we hope to have 45 seconds next week! We're working on it'

Some questions for Frank I'd be interested in:

    - How was it like recently playing the deep cuts from UYI like Locomotive and Dead Horse in concert? Did the band have to practise a lot for these?

    - How about new material? When can the fans expect a new song? Will you guys be testing the waters in concert first or will you just surpise everyone with a single or even a new album out of the blue?

    - What's your favourite GNR song in general what's your fav GNR song to perform live?

    - What's the hardest GNR song to play for you?

    - You've been working with GNR in various lineups since 2006, for you as the drummer what's the biggest difference between the current lineup and the middle to late CD era of the 2010's?

    - The songs are played faster in concert than before - who decided that or was it a mere neccesity because of the production (lights/videos/pyros and all)?

    Good questions

A Frank interview will be about as exciting as watching paint dry. He might be the nicest guy in the world but nobody cares about him outside of GNR and obviously even if he knew plans he wouldn't say them. If he were to be asked about Matt saying that Duff said he didn't like playing with him (or whatever the exact quote from Matt's book was) that could be interesting but I don't think Brando is Howard Stern and to ever have him back on they have to be softball questions.

Most people who listen to Distortion are fans of GNR so should be of interest.

Fernando doesn't even know what the plan is so I doubt Frank does. Fernando has taken to ask 10 people on Reddit what to do.
