I gotta check myself sometimes, it's easy to go "ahh this isn't perfect in this way"... but nothing else they have done is, and every song I like is the same... So I just sat and listened like I used to do with the other albums, and yeah it's good. It's not going to set the world alight, but that's ok. It's good to hear them again.

There seems to be a few recording phases here. The main vocals at the start are fine, but then the overdubs seem to be varying in quality and style dramatically, not just they "hey hey", but incidental "uhhs" and other phrases like "Weight upon your shoulders" have a unique effect on them which along with the other 3 or 4 unique effects, make it sound pasted together. The high pitch at the end of the chorus vocals wrecks them also. "Got a lot more than I bargained for".. "For" is just the high vocal, it's weird. No bite to Slash's pieces. Bass is pretty nice though!
