Underrated Drummers

Buddy Rich was by no means underrated.His talant was widely acknowledged in his era.

He used to be on Johhny Carson on a regular basis.

He might not be well known today,but trust me,once you heard him...he was not underrated!

I agree with Charlie Watts and Ringo Starr though.

They are much better than people realize.

Especially Charlie!

Along the Charlie Watts - line - the drummer for most of Mellancamp's albums - Kenny Arnoff or something like that - Always liked the simple, strong beat he kept during those tunes

Levon Helm, easily.

I read once that he's one of those guys whos drumming can make you cry and it's true! :cry:
