Adele Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 What do you think will be the top cities GnR will tour in the US?I'm asking this because I will have money late summer, and should a tour happen, I plan to travel out of state (I live in Florida) to visit another area while taking in the show. Washington DC ... I plan on visiting all the monuments and museums. NY .... well there's a ton to do in NY and I have family there. But I'm considering a place I have never been before. I'm also sitting on a secret agenda. I will get tickets for a Florida show should they come here ... but if by chance either city's show is canceled I'll have the other show to go to. I know that's a rather negative perspective, but I am sitting on two separate tickets for shows on two separate tours that have been canceled in the past. (No blame to the band ... I know it was a bad time) So I want to see them this time!
Cdlove Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I'm hoping Atlanta, they haven't been there since the 80's!
TheHelgo Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 would love St. Louis, but I assume that is the least likely tour stop.....
ChapelRoses Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I hope Greensboro NC again, would love to go with a very large group of friends instead of a select few who can travel further.Whatever though, I'll be happy with anything in a days drive.
Adele Posted February 25, 2010 Author Posted February 25, 2010 I'd love to find a list of cities of previous tours - to compare and see what the general top spots are.

Phanatic Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Oooh. They appear to have done one in Baltimore Maryland.
montrealrocks Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 A surprise set in a club in Montreal would be great...
hodge4443 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Maybe Nashville.....they can make up the show that got postponed.......then cancelled in 06.
Black Sabbath Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Philly and DC. Go there, then I won't care where else they go.
Rock_And_Roll_Over Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Madison Square Garden would easily make my year.
Andrew07 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 i hope they come to somewhere in fucking connecticut, they didnt come here on the 2006 tour and i couldnt drive up to mass when they played there, the last time they played in ct was the 2002 tour and that was before i got into gnr
bigcountry Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I would love to see a St. Louis (most likely not happen), Memphis, Nashville or Little Rock gig. Just one of them please because I am not close to anywhere else. But I will say if they are smart they will have a 20 or so date US tour at only MAJOR cities like LA, New York ect...... and have all sell out to make it look like they back on top by selling out all dates. Which is what they should have done in 02 and 06. But that will leave alot of fans out in cold for a GNR show that is close but it is just whtat is finacially feesable. JMHO!
sweet child 76 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Madison Square Garden would easily make my year.I would fly to NY for this....and I hate flying!
Stipemanblue Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Madison Square Garden would easily make my year.I would fly to NY for this....and I hate flying! They can do a show in Malibu in my backyard overlooking PCH. Might need a permit though.
Powerage5 Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Hopign for a Philly show in Fall...my new roommate is big into GN'R and he hasn't had a chance to see them, we'd definitely both go down for that.
Philly Guns Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Hopign for a Philly show in Fall...my new roommate is big into GN'R and he hasn't had a chance to see them, we'd definitely both go down for that.a show in philly would be epic
Blaine_sixx Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Cities that are good for shows and will do great automaticallyHoustonDallasNYCDetroitVegas
GunsNRevolvers2 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Boston! But preferrably Worcester, as I like the DCU center more for concerts then the Garden, mostly due to the fact that the DCU has actual pits, not really fuckin expensive seats on the floor where you have to pay alot to be in the front whereas you can just buy a GA ticket at the DCU and arrive in the morning to be the first ones in and in the front row
Blaine_sixx Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 my post is mostly going off numbers from other bands and stuff....

GNR 1991 Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, fuck even LA -- any of those cities get dates, I'm there.
