Black Sabbath
I don't think U2 is the biggest band in the world anymore. maybe second.i think coldplay has that title.Whether or not you're being serious, I respectfully disagree. Coldplay's stadiums don't look like this:

Black Sabbath
As of right now, I would agree that either Muse or Kings Of Leon are the biggest band in the world.
Tater Totts
Correct me if I am wrong but I get the impression Muse are not that big in America? Where as Kings of Leon are big the world over?
Black Sabbath
The Resistance debuted at #3 on the charts. They're big, but I guess not as big as in other places.I'm that big a fan of either, but I prefer Muse over KOL.
SunnyDRE
Muse are still virtually unknown in the US, and while Kings have made somes strides in the states, the could never headline a stadium tour.coldplay couldThe Resistance debuted at #3 on the charts. Black Sabbath
How are you going to say they aren't big at all when their latest album debuted at #3? They're a lot bigger than other bands.
bacardimayne
Their song was in Twilight. They're big as shit. Stop trippin' Sunny.
Rock_And_Roll_Over
Correct me if I am wrong but I get the impression Muse are not that big in America? Where as Kings of Leon are big the world over?My dad and brother went and saw them at Madison Square Garden and it sold out on the first day. I wouldn't say they're HUGE, but a lot of people know them here.
SunnyDRE
I think if you asked 10 random people in the us who listen to the radio occasionally, who Muse are - more wouldn't know them, than would.Correct me if I am wrong but I get the impression Muse are not that big in America? Where as Kings of Leon are big the world over?My dad and brother went and saw them at Madison Square Garden and it sold out on the first day. LightningBolt
Wasn't "Hysteria" a modest hit back in '05 or whenever it came out?I know quite a few people who know who Muse is. A lot of people at my school do.I like Muse, but their newest album is only slightly above average, in my opinion.
ohmygod
Both of those craptastic bands have a very strong following in America. Sadly
stevGNR666
The Mars Volta is the best band still touring. followed by A Silver Mt. Zion. 3 bands that I can't stand. Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime. Radiohead and Coldplay have been trying to achieve what only Sigur Ros can. Listening to music from the 2000s is extremely rewarding. Lou Reed may be the coolest person on the planet. Tim Buckley is a more rewarding listen than his son.

Saw them when they opened for U2 as well at Giant's Stadium, and that concert was sold out. Not that the people came to the U2 concert to see Muse, but I'd say a good 1/2 of the people knew the lyrics to their more well known songs. They're popular at my school as well. FuddMckagan
Muse are better than RadioheadThe Smashing Pumpkins are not goodScott Weiland is a good singerBuckethead's Nightrain solo isn't as good as you think it is.And just for bacardimayne:Zzyzx Rd.>>>>This I Love
Towelie
Stone Temple Pilots are better than Nirvana.Michael Jackson made his best work in the 90s.Slash's new album is the best GNR-related product since Illusions (including VR and Chinese Democracy). Towelie
UYI2 has a lot of really average songs. As long as you're not referring to Locomotive, Estranged, YCBM, Civil War or Breakdown then I'll let that one slide.
Dead Flower
I would definitely include Breakdown. But I'm thinking more KOHD, Get in the Ring, Shotgun Blues, So Fine, Yesterdays, alternate lyrics, etc.Locomotive is on the edge - goes forfuckingever. krissirge
Because Scott is in VR, people seem to forget that in the end,STP will be grouped together with Bush and Live rather than Nirvana and Alice In Chains.Gallagher brothers could do the world a favor and dive under a train for all the music and idiotic behavior they have produced60's rock was mainly crapand following from the previous oneJust because a band is original ,does not mean its good. GivenToFly
post grunge>grungeI find it really hard to believe someone actually thinks this.I agree. Post Grunge is probably my least form of rock music there is.I don't know much about it, but what I can say is that this and emo are the genres that produced the worst band names ever
