I wish they would add barking dogs at the end of the Apocalyptic explosion on Chinese Democracy

I hear what you're saying, Jackie. It's more of a theme than a direct reference. Chinese Democracy (song) is about the destruction of the world and the dogs barking represent the hounds of hell. The rest of the album is a trip back thru time that shows us how we got to that level of Apocalyptic destruction.

You're my favorite poster.

Do you think they should add the sound of barking hell hounds to the end of Chinese Democracy? The explosion at the end of that song seems to be like reality blowing up all around you. I think it would sound really cool if they added a couple hell hounds barking at the end, It would be the perfect lead into Shackler's Revenge.

haha, ummm....no.

But I like where you're coming from.

I think I'm getting where the original poster is coming from.

'Welcome to the Jungle' had 'police sirens'

'Chinese Democracy' should have 'barking dogs' at the start (not the SFX of little green martians whispering :D )

Guns N'Roses used to open with 'Welcome to the Jungle'

Now 'they' open with 'Chinese Democracy'

It still doesn't make sense to open a show with an opener, only to follow it up with another opener song.

They still close the show with 'Paradise City'. I guess there's nothing on Chinese Democracy that has the same punch.

Should another artist ever want to record a version of ‘Chinese Democracy’ (highly doubtful) I had an idea for a whole new perspective on the vibe of the song.

Keeping the whole SFX thing in mind, the song would open during the day time, featuring the hussle n’ bustle of every day China, set in a market place, chickens, bicycles, people speaking (this would be ideal for the video). Image the camera rising skywards, along with the sound, fading from chaos to peace. As the song kicks off, it would take a trip across the roof / tree tops of China, with allsorts of audio imagery, as if to take a trip on the back of a dragon (looking through the eyes of, or simply riding on its back).
