bt88 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 The real question is how did he sound His voice has been suspect lately I want to go see Soundgarden in Toronto but if Cornell sounds like shit it will ruin the whole experience. Quote

Soundgarden should be awesome. I felt like he was holding back though. He didn't really air it out that much. In his defense it was an acoustic show. Here's some vids from last night. Quote

FuddMckagan Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Looks like a great set, I would've loved to see him do a solo show.I'm just hoping Soundgarden come here. Quote
innocuous1 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Awesome! I saw the Austin show - he did a trippy version of Ticket to Ride....seems to still be threading in some Beatles! He also had a red phone on a stool the whole time. It never rang or was included in the show. I still wonder what that was about (maybe THAT was the point). Did you capture Mind Riot on video? What did you think of William Elliott Whitmore (assuming he's still the opener)? Quote
chevelle Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Watching that video of Billie Jean and hearing his voice made me listen to Superunknown for the first time in a year, so thank you for posting it. Quote

Ghostie Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Just him and a gee-tar. Awesome. Wish I'd known about this tour before now. Damn. Quote

I assume it was the guy you mentioned. I guess the "Bat Phone" was just a prop. It never rang at my show either.Nice! Lucky, dude! How was When I'm Down?
