wasted
I think he did a pretty good job, given it's a dirty job. both were raised by indians or wolves so that must be it.

tat2d1
That has Wild Hearted Son on it. I thought was a classic Cult track.I've got that DVD where Astbury plays with remaining Doors. It's pretty good.I saw Ian when he was singing for the Doors, back in 2004. He was in full "Morrison-mode" too, lol. Had his hair grown out, resembling Morrison, even kinda dressed like Jim. While it was a fun show, I remember thinking at the time " Why the hell is Ian Astbury being a Jim Morrison impersonator??" I was kinda glad when he left to go back and do The Cult. I'll definitely check out this new album. Edited February 9, 2012 by tat2d1

The Real McCoy
He's the only one who could pull it off accept Val Kilmer.Ian was actually offered the role of Jim in that movie before Kilmer was. He turned it down.
wasted
Didn't Billy Idol audition but just got the drinking buddy role. I think Lou Diamond Philips was also in the mix.
The Real McCoy
I really like "Painted On My Heart" from the "Gone In 60 Seconds" soundtrack. Weird to imagine them performing a Diane Warren penned song, but they pulled it off.Completely blows away the Aerosmith demo of the song, and this is coming from one of the biggest Aerosmith fans on the planet.
