The "Bring GNR Back to Buffalo" Thread!

Guns N' Roses hasn't been in Buffalo since they played Ralph Wilson Stadium with Metallica in 1992. My aunt was at that concert, and I will be forever jealous of her.

Shea's Performing Arts Center holds 3700 and would be great for the current tour. I know other fans in Buffalo who would die to see GNR again.

Some videos of concerts at the venue:

Other local venues:

Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls, NY (capacity 2200)

Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls, NY (capacity 1700)

Fallsview Casino Theatre in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada (capacity 1500)

Town Ballroom (capacity 1200)

The Tralf (capacity 450)

Who else would love to see Guns in the Queen City?

Seeing Guns at The Tralf...that'd be a treat! :P Love that place, I'm always seeing Tower Of Power there, and they cram all 10 guys in the band onstage with all their gear, and they all have the same confused look on their face like "who the hell booked us here?"

Seriously though, I'd love a Buffalo show. Over the last couple years Buffalo has been becoming a bit more of a target city for bands. Even if it was on a fall arena tour and not a UCAP gig, I'd definitely go see them at the HSBC.

A summer show outdoors at either Darien Lake Performing Arts Center (capacity 21,600) or UB Stadium (capacity 29,013) would also be awesome.

Hell, give the UB students $10 admission when they come back in September and you'd fill the stadium up easily.

A little bit of nostalgia with this thread...Buffalo, NY, July 25th, 1992, was my first GNR show ever.

It was a beautiful summer day, nice hot day...18 years old, tailgating on the 3 hour drive down the thruway to Buffalo with 3 of my buds and one of their older sister's, having a great time.

Caught in traffic, we had to bolt to some field behind an auto repair shop to take a leak b4 bladders exploded! :)

After more tailgating in the parking lot, time to make our way up to the upper level of Rich Stadium!

Faith No More was bad, really bad. They were like a soundcheck band I guess. Even their 2 popular songs were drowned out on the sound system in Rich Stadium.

Metallica was next and I thought they were excellent. They sounded very much like they did on albums...

...and then the wait...totally worth it, albeit long...the sun was setting...ahhh, what a great time.

GNR kicked ass that night. What a great fucking day/night.

and to think each ticket was only $25. un-fucking-believable! :)

I just saw GNR for the 6th time...Atlantic City was fucking great! Axl is unreal.
