Chinese Democracy was like part 1 of the LOTRO trilogy. We got Fellowship, but the relationship broke down with the studio during the editing process for parts 2 and 3. The director wants re-shoots, but many of the actors have moved on.

Axl, if you simply can't or won't release The Two Towers, go back to your roots, reunite with the old guys and give us The Hobbit. And feel free to make it a triple just for the hell of it.
