izzygirl
I was going to mention Marion. Have not thought of the others.Maribel verdú was in Pan's Labyrinth, Tetro (the Francis Ford Coppola film) and Y tú mamá también. Those are probably her most famous works internationally. She is one of my favourite actresses. Marion is definitely one of the best of her generation.
Georgy Zhukov
I was thinking about watching Tetro.I thought she was good in those other two you mentioned but her performance in Pan's suffered through awful, awful writing. Only Ron Perelman can ever make Del Toro's lines work.

Visually beautiful, but other than that it falls flat.

Redhead74
Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett are great, but Tilda Swinton is better than both of them combined. She is mesmerising.

Redhead74
Tilda Swinton is better than both of them combined. She is mesmerising. New images just came out for her Chanel campaign. Absolutely stunningly beautiful AND so much acting talent? How is it possible?

MEXzilla
I think Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby gave the best female performance in the 2000s.

Do me a favour, she looks like a cross between Andy Warhol and David Bowie I will admit she has an androgynous appearance, but I love that & on screen she just oozes sexiness & confidence. There's no one like her.
Guest Len B'stard
She looks like she's wearing a one piece flesh coloured head to toe bodysuit with a wig on top, it's like Revenge of the Mannequin!
