pacu44
Slash and Axl wanted him to rerecord some of the tracks, Izzy refused, they deleted him...
YoureARayCatQueen
I always refer to Izzy as the driving force and he genius behind most of GNR's best stuff. Totally love that man. Humble and mysterious and just amazing. He's always been my favorite member. He caught my eye in the Paradise City music video, and I've been hooked ever since. He's what caused me to look into GNR further. Definitely a great guy and an amazing musician and totally underrated and outshined by Slash and Axl. Just my opinion, everyone has their favorites. But, from what I've seen, Izzy definitely contributed greatly to the overall sound of GNR.
wasted
Supposedly GNR was Izzy's band, down to the Hanoi Rocks Stones visuals. But once they got big Axl and Slash took over and didnt listen to his ideas. Axl was probably right the masses want a quality produced album. But staying more like Rolling Rocks was probably Izzy's idea of success. Ju ju hounds could have been Sticky Fingers of GNR.
