@killuridols Answering your question regarding Melissa and her chocolate candy. Melissa is nothing more than a Lady Gaga wanna be. Don't be surprised if at the end of the tour she sign a contract make pop diva like albums.. She doesn't belong in a rock band like GN'R. She is there because of her back up vocals. Richard and Dizzy do very little of that job. So the back up is mostly Duff and Melissa when it should be Duff and Izzy

It wasn't a question, lol  but I guess you put it out clearly. Had never thought of the Lady Gaga thing!

Yeah, probably she's aiming for a music contract, which it isn't wrong actually, more like the logical path she should take.

Her backup vocals are really good in Guns N Roses but that's all. I don't like her image and the things she posts in her social media. It is all very cheesy, unoriginal and doesn't stand out or strike me as someone who can make a difference when it comes to female artists.

And I can't really see how she's SO HOT as some guys here describe her and drool over her. To me she's an average looking girl, very skinny, no boobs and no butt to be considered such a "bomb" and the tons of make up she wears don't do it for me. Her fake eyelashes are a turn off.

So Sasha's an artist as well as a model.  I didn't know that.

She's neither that's why you didn't know

I have no idea if this information is accurate but I remember reading somewhere that she is a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London. Again, no idea if this is accurate or not. Correct me if I am wrong.

Never read something like that and I don't even know what's Central Saint Martins.

About the painting, it seems to me that she knocked a bucket of paint over a canvas but then, i don't particulary like contemporary art so i'm not the best judge

lol contemporary art is used and misused to label shit that want to be passed as art nowadays. I've seen so many things similar to that "Red Cross" bs also labeled as art and people buy it thinking it's great. Like there was this artist here who set up an empty white room with no windows and one door. That was supposed to be "art" and it was exposed at a center exhibition charging a lot for the ticket to enter.

There were protests from people questioning this so called art that sounded more like cash grab bullshit. Since there's this minimalism movement people think they can do something like that and get away with their bs art.

She's neither a model nor an artist. She's an escort who sometimes manages to find gigs to model plus size clothes. And as far as I know she's got nothing to do with art, she proably just paints as a hobby.

I've never heard about her being a graduate of anything. Possible I guess, bus as far as I know she's just a Ukrainian girl who wanted to become an actress/model, but never made it due to a lack of acting/language skills, talent, looks, etc. So she ended up becoming an escort.

I love how you're such a snake :rofl-lol:

Yes, art is difficult to judge without seeing the original work.  I went to see an exibition of Andrew Lloyd Webber's collection at the Royal Academy some years ago.  In the book that accompanied the exibition he tells a story about how he wanted to borrow £50 from his grandmother to buy a painting, and she refused, saying she didn't want to have Victorian junk in their home.  That painting was Flaming June by Fredrick, Lord Leighton.  It is now worth millions.  One man's bucket of paint on a canvas is another man's masterpiece.  Who knows how Sasha's painting will be judged in future.

lol you're a Sasha supporter in the shadows

It would not surprise me if the next big thing in the art world, is a piece that is made entirely from the menstruation of a rich mans escort.

Talk about letting your creative juices flow!

Lets go and hang it next to the Mona Lisa!

There's a trend about using menstruation for "art" like that one women who stuffed wool threads in her uterus so that when she had her period the wool threads would soak in blood and she used that to knit a scarf

Lol I don't think Sasha is any kind of artist  Probably just likes to paint in her spare time or something. And Axl's a creative guy, he used to talk about liking painting and drawing, and it wouldn't surprise me if he has art supplies around his house. So maybe Sasha just got bored one day while hanging out at Axl's house and produced that CD "artwork".

And I really don't think it will ever be worth anything. No one cares about Sasha Volkova or knows who she is, apart from us here. I think my own paintings are about as likely to ever be successful as hers are lol. Although I could see the scenario @MillionsOfSpiders described :scared: That'd be just so typical of this band and this weird world we live in in general :facepalm: But maybe she could stop leeching off Axl then at least.

-----

Hahaha, I'm not an expert gif maker now or anything, I just used one of these online thingies to make one, but you're welcome

Do you have anything specific in mind? Like I said, I'm new at this and can't do anything special, but I could try I guess.

-----

Bonus video of Axl telling a story last night about being detained at the Canadian border because they found a gun on their bus. Because someone apparently forgot they had a gun. Who the hell forgets they have a gun with them?! Probably Fernando again or someone like that, wouldn't suprise me :max::facepalm::facepalm:

Sasha is the new Dizzy Reed :rofl-lol:

Seriously, Axl is a very good guy and I hate he gets taken advantaged of like that. Sometimes he gives jobs to people who have no talent at all but he sees them as homeless or something and feels sorry for the,

Sasha's painting is lame. If we did a Google image search we'd find hundreds of similar "paintings"  and if we checked a kindergarten I'm sure we'd find way more creative pieces of art

------

haha, I don't know. I guess the gifs are cool when the situation is very funny. They don't need much work around. I just love it when they are high quality though. The China Exchange Q&A is full of Axl's funny faces. My favorite one is obviously when he rolls his eyes at Sir David Lang and then laughs, but there are others too... when he says "why why why?", when he replies he listens to his own music at home, some faces he makes at the people in the audience, etc.

-----

Wow I couldn't see what happened before OTGM and I don't understand for the video either :P

Does he mean they were detained last night or was it an old story? Is that why the show started like 30 minutes later?

Fernando collects all sorts of guns , I've seen them on his IG account and never liked that. Why would there be a gun in the bus? That's so dangerous, especially around the tempers that we have in the band AND crew.

You have to be good to get in.

Yes, but she probably never went to school there in the first place, so this is a pointless argument. I'm willing to stand corrected, but so far no one has ever heard anything about this. It was only one person commenting she read that somewhere and she doesn't know if it's even true.

Most likely Sasha is just a sad story of a girl with big hopes and dreams that were crushed pretty quickly by reality. Like thousands and thousands of other girls out there.

@killuridols It's hard to tell but when I listened to it, it sounded like the gun story was recent, and not something from back in the day or anything.

Yes, it is useless to argue about information that isn't clear. But applying some logical thinking here, why would a graduate of such prestigious school would end up working as a D class model and scort of a rocker and actors?

Where is the other art she makes? Or that's the only "piece of art" she's ever made as an Arts Graduate?

I'm usually around a lot of artistic people who have gone to art school and none of them are the Sasha type. If she really got into a school like that and this is the outcome then  to her.

As for the guns story, yeah, it sounded like something recent.

As i understood it, the gun story happened while they were going to Toronto for yesterday show, they have been detained because there was a gun on the bus they didn't tell the police about, it wasn't Axl's and he didn't know about it but the police was nice and understanding.

Yes, the gun incident took place at the Canadian border. I like the way Axl told the story, with a smile on his face, kind of parodying his old rants, like he did with security at the Philadelphia show  This is Axl at his best; and of course it's much, much better than his Beta jokes

A representative for GN'R confirmed to Billboard, "Yes, this indeed happened on Friday, July 15, as they were crossing the border coming from the Philadelphia tour stop on the 14th." The rep also noted that the gun didn't belong to any member of the band.

Yeah, we called it. My money's definitely on Fernando or Andrei

And having guns lying around (and forgetting about them!) is especially moronic considering they constantly have small children/babies with them. What if Vanessa's daughter had found the gun and played around with it? Or Fernando's daughter? God, these people are so... I don't even have words for it :facepalm::facepalm:

"However, the trek endangered its lone Canadian concert after the "classic" GN'R lineup was detained entering Canada when a gun belonging to a member of the band's touring company was found onboard."

Seems like Axl is looking at Richard here? And is it Richard saying "That's right"?

I also suspect of the big bodyguard Kimo something :suspicious:

Do bodyguards carry guns?

Lol, well Fernando is definitely into guns and other type of armaments. I had not thought of the children but now I got worried. That's a fucking mistake to own guns if you have kids and a temper like Fermanager's

Why do you insist with a member of the band? It is not anyone in GNR. It is clearly someone from the camp and we have already closed the circle or have a couple suspects who suit the profile way more than Richard or Slash.

@killuridols, I'm not saying it's a member of the band. The part of the RS article I quoted says the gun belonged to a member of the band's touring company, not to the member himself. So maybe it belonged to someone who travels with Fortus. It's just a thought, because Axl was looking at him, nothing more. Another thought is that Axl is too loyal to his people to expose them on stage, so maybe it was someone else's "touring company", a security guy for example, that had the gun.

Ok I'm sorry

I too think that Axl wouldn't expose anyone nowadays like he did in the 80s when he was fed up with the guys doing drugs. He knows how much damage that would do to the band and since he said he doesn't even know how to word out his autobiography so that people don't get offended, I can see how he cares too much about it and wouldn't be accusing people in front of the fans.

In my opinion, he was trying to talk about the story before the press eventually picks it up. Talkin' about it yourself beforehand makes it easier to avoid any misunderstandings in the press. I believe it was a good tactic.

I don't really see it, it seems to me that Fortus said "right" when Axl said that the police was nice so he was looking at him because Richard talked to him, i agree with @oaka that it was a good strategy to prevent the media to blown this up and it worked.
