Roadhouse Blues Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 Initial reaction: severe disappointment.Good vocals on Axl's behalf, Thal was great, but RIR3 had so much more excitement at the end...remember when he gave that dramatic speech at the end and went out in Axl fashion? During It's So Easy when he kicked the guy out? And so on and so forth?I kinda miss some of that enthusiasm. Axl seemed more to be going through the motions here. I remember in Rock in Rio III the played not the usual 18 songs the played all the time in 2002 and 2006 in N.Y. and Madrid, but I think 20 or even 21 songs.Oh, and no new songs either.
