kevdo242
To name a few, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, The Sex Pistols and even Def Leppard And they were all based on American Blues music. But then again, the British took American Blues music and changed into something much more. Then again, USA had Chuck Berry and Elvis. But to be honest, I prefer all the British bands to Chuck Berry and Elvis. But I respect what they did for rock music. sweetness
ODS is right, if it wasnt for the Blues none of those bands would have been around. But we have Guns N' Roses B)
Calm Like A Bomb
I love Chuck Berry and Elvis and they were huge influences to most of the bands mentioned but i always thought there was a certain limit that they could reach IMO. Get your head out of your arse and look away from the mainstream. The underground progressive/exeprimental/metal scene in the UK is AMAZING.Then again, it is in the US too. But yeah.
