She's a pop/rock singer. I give her as much credibility as I give Poison, which isn't much, but it's something. My ex was something of a fan, so I've heard "Under My Skin" which is one of the better pop albums of recent years.

But she's hot. So who cares?

I say she's in the middle, leaning slightly to rock chick. She's got a rock voice, a solid backing band, and has somewhat of a rock image, though it does seem fake at times. Her songs are actually decent as popular rock goes these days. Complicated, I'm With You, and Nobdoy's Home were listenable, catchy, and not as bad lyrically as most pop songs. Sure they aren't to the GNR standard to which we all measure music, but they were decent songs with catch and some spunk. Overall, I like her, though her music isn't necessarily my cup of tea.

And yes, she's hot.
