bacardimayne
Pretty much every GTA soundtrack has at least one of my favorite songs. Vice City - Cum on Feel the Noize, Billie Jean, I RanSan Andreas - Nuthin But a G Thang, Dre Day, Cult of Personality, Hold the Line, Hey Good LookinIV - Mama, Oxygene Part IV, Call Pon Dem, Heaven and HellV - Lady (Hear Me Tonight), Still DRE, The Next Episode, pretty much all of FlyLo and SpaceAnd that's just off the top of my head. It's also worth noting is that the punk station in V is the worst collection of music ever compiled. Another good game series for soundtracks is the ea sports NHL series. Johnny Drama
The punk was fucking awful. Wad it Radio X? It was like a whole station of toothless punk. Bland. The punk was fucking awful. uncivil war
I can't remember any if the songs of the top of my head, but the original Gran Tourismo game on ps1 had an awesome soundtrack. I remember playing it just for the songs.
Snake-Pit
FIFA Football 2003/FIFA Soccer 2003 had Dy-Na-Mi-Tee by Ms. Dynamite and GTA: San Andreas had Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses...Those are the only examples I can think of right now where games featured songs I liked already.

ronaldo9
I first heard "Fit But You Know It" on one of the FIFA games. That led me to looking up some more stuff by The Streets, leading to Mike Skinner becoming one of my favorite artists for his work with The Streets project. So, I have FIFA to thank for that. Also, bought a ChocQuibTown album that I really enjoy after hearing "El Bombo" on a FIFA game. Really like the variety of music that the FIFA games usually have. The NBA 2K11 soundtrack was one of my favorites, too. Still find myself playing some songs I first heard from that on YouTube. "So Far" by The Redland was one of the standout tracks on that game for me:
