axlslash Posted October 15, 2015 Author Share Posted October 15, 2015 Picked up the album and loved it, haven't watched the Rio performance yet.I've listened to a couple of the cuts off the album and really enjoyed it. I'm not looking to them to be anything other than an upscale Kings of Chaos or Camp Freddy type of band, so I'm almost definitely not going to be disappointed in anything they do. They're a group of cool motherfuckers getting together to play sleeze rock with their buddies. I'm totally cool with that, and enjoy listening.The Rolling Stone piece on them was hilarious. They played through their set, their soundboard guy said "you're 8min short of your Rock In Rio runtime," so they said fuck it and just jammed on Brown Sugar for 8 minutes and decided that'd fill the time.
