  1. Which FOX? An affiliate or the one with like, Tucker and Hannity and stuff?
  2. Aaaaghh I remember when MTV used to do block rock or rock block (whatever it was called, lol) and they'd do Guns. I'd always get so pissed when they played NR because that'd mean they'd only show 2 GN'R videos instead of 3 haha.
  3. The "New Album" Thread

Semi-related/same context: two of the greatest mysteries to me, to this day are 1) who was the guy on HTGTH who quoted the Sorry lyrics and how did he know and 2) I can't recall who it was but before Eric announced that Dexter was Axl, how did the poster who first conversed with Axl, know it was actually him? Bonus: besides mods, I wonder if I was the first person to correspond with Axl through PM on here lol (I was pissed at the overall sentiment of posters for a few months before Dexter appeared, so I had another account on here and- yes, even before Eric announced that Dexter was Axl, I PM'd him and asked, "Are you indeed thee Axl Rose?" and he said, "Yes and thanks for your support!" Fucking monumental moment in my life lol, not even kidding. Only thing that could top that would be to meet the man, someday (wishing on a star lol)
  4. The "New Album" Thread

What would be the thing that would excite you the most in reading about the album before its release?; as in like, one of the band members' descriptions. Mine would be- assuming the quote would come from Duff- "it's basically Use Your Illusion III."
  5. shit, lol, that's what I love about this song; that it completely takes me back to that time period. it's the same reason why i love synthwave music. the only difference is that Atlas was likely recorded during that time period (early 2000s) whereas most synthwave has only been made within the last 6/7 years, largely (if you're unfamiliar with what synthwave is, it's just retro/throwback mainly keyboard-based music that sounds identical to 80s music. "retrogenesis" by perturbator, look it up. a fine example)
  6. MYGNRFORUM YouTube Policy

Lol all due respect but I think that, if most people meet A, S or D (omg I just had an unrelated thought: imagne if Duff's name started with an F, instead? If instead of Duff he was like... "Fuff" or something... than the trio would be known as the almighty A...F...D! lol)- but yeah, I think if most people meet one of the three of them for the first time, they'd probably want to talk about other things besides this situation lol. edit: whoops, I fucked that up. Not Duff being Fuff... It would have to be Slash. Flash... Axl, Flash and Duff. AFD haha.
  7. First ever GnR song that you heard?

YCMB. Video. Early summer 91. I had heard GN'R songs before, I'm sure, but YCMB was really the first one I "noticed." I was 9 years old and... fuck... T2 was going to be amazing as a movie and then GN'R who, my older siblings that I looked up to also apparently approved of, summer vacation from school was right around the corner. Young, carefree, holy fuck was that an amazing time in life.
  8. GNRs Slash & Duff On New Ozzy Album

shit... I like this. "Sonically," (what does that even mean, really, lol) it seems to "remain consistent" (my God, I feel like I sound like all the stuffy journalists that I think are such dorks haha) to how his last couple albums have sounded. What a great job everyone has done on this song. Bless 'Em All.
  9. 11/02/19 - Las Vegas, NV - The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

Bad Obsession, too, no? I've always thought that song like, WAS Guns N' Roses... (or "is." or was for that time period, idk). It's really got everything GN'R has always seemed to be about: fun-sounding, upbeat tune, lots of instrumentation, very crude but honest (and funny) lyrics, etc. Melissa could provide a fraction of the female backing vocals like how it used to be performed live; she could probably emulate the horn section, Teddy or another friend of the band who plays harmonica may not be too difficult to get a hold of, you know.
  10. Copyright Strikes....

wat was that like, for ransom or something? as in like, to prevent sensitive things from being leaked out?
  11. 10/25/19 - New Orleans, LA - Voodoo Music Experience

    any idea why?
  12. 10/25/19 - New Orleans, LA - Voodoo Music Experience

Holy shit! They nailed the living piss outta that! Kinda like the faster tempo, too. Has always been my all-time favorite Guns song ever, ever, ever.
  13. holy fuck they did play DH? Oh man video when
  14. i’m a little out of the loop: is rick one of the people who’s been circulating leaks, lately? is he a member here?
  15. Tour Lithographs and show specific artwork

I can’t help it: I think that Jacksonville design is effing awesome lol
  16. Agree that the production was perfect & spotless. Have never really understood the argument that they were bloated or had filler. As the excellent and MIA poster Indiana Rose said, “the Illusion albums were monsters...”
  17. 09/28/19 - Louisville KY - Louder Than Life Festival

You know, I remember on the first night of Vegas 16, outside at the merch tables, they were selling the COMA shirt and I was like, "whoa: maybe they really WILL play it tonight?!!!" and they did (aaa!!!). So like, maybe this + the fact that it was listed as an alt on the setlist...
  18. Do we know if anyone, as these are coming out, is making like, a, “Leaks: THE DEFINITIVE COLLECTION” sorta thing where everything is kept together for one giant torrent or something? I mean, I’m not advocating for such illegal activity (honestly aren’t); i’m just wondering.
  19. 09/21/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Palladium

she performed with the band tonight, though.
  20. 09/21/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Palladium

haha someone just yelled out "hard school!" lol
  21. 09/21/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Palladium

haha, has anyone mentioned yet the absence of the flannel shirt around his waste?
  22. 09/21/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Palladium

holy shit, his hair length is like that picture of him on the roller coaster
  23. 09/21/19 - Los Angeles, CA - Hollywood Palladium

Rewatching D's broadcast. The PA music as band is taking the stage: have we identified that yet??
  24. god damnit, i like it!!! fuck!!! haha. i don't know. i like hearing late 90s Axl. Brings me back to that point in my life. In a weird way, kinda makes me feel recharged and not scared of the future anymore because... lol what the Hell good would that do anyway?
  25. Seriously, no? Also reminds me of some of the songs on Disc 2 of Lost Tracks edit: that reminds me that, it’s interesting that you hear these songs as being ones that could make an entirely unique album that sound like them- a sort of concept album, if you will- because I thought the same thing about the CD version of Riad.
