whatashame Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 I kinda always thought Axl's image wasn't related to line up.it kinda seems when the band has a down time, Axl takes time for himself, reinvents himself, develops a new trend and kinda motivates himself for another time. I'd say that has more to do with it than band members, since we don't really see/hear from Axl when he's not touring.Another connection comes to mind there. A lot of bandmembers seem to leave after they get tired of doing nothing. Is that why we're stuck with the never ending Chinese Democtacy tour? 2006 - Bumble replaces Bucket, Brain is replaced by Frank, Axl wears cornrows in pony tail and gets goatee. Ditches jerseys. Frank did not join until 2009. Brain drummed in 2006 and 2007.No, Frank took over halfway through the European tour in 2006 and Brain hasn't played with the band since. I believe Franks first show was around July 1, 2006.Something like that, definitely. I think it's a bit earlier because I saw them on the 2nd of July 2006 (Nijmegen, The Netherlands) with Frank, but I think he'd done a couple of shows with them before that. Edit: Just looked it up.
