Not sure if that is strictly true. My house this year is about 4 or 5 miles away from the camp site, and last year I could hear Faith No More very audibly from my house....it was great!

I think the amount of effort Ron has put into GN'R over the past couple of years of touring inactivity are really starting to come to fruition. On the 2006 tour, he didn't really have enough time to learn the material, so I think he was slightly overwhelmed, while still doing an extremely competent job. Now, I think he is really starting to show how much of valuable asset he is to this band. The way he is playing the material is close to the old material; hes showing a lot of respect to the musicians before him, while putting his own spin on the material. He is pivotal to any future success of GN'R.

Shacklers Revenge screams for a live action trailer with some kind of famous actor/actress.

Axl commented previously that he and Mickey Rourke joked around and that Mickey agreed to be the 'Shackler' if they were to do a video for 'Shackler's Revenge' so for that reason, I'd give Shackler's my vote.

I remeber a guy talking about some songs that didn't make it in Chinese Democracy. Two songs. One of then he said that sounded like Smells Like Teen Spirit. Anyone remember this ??

russtcb confirmed earlier that this was just a reprint of CD basically, with a new UPC code that identifies it from the Best Buy exclusive CD. Doubtful that there is anything different with this. Perhaps a correct booklet.

Bottomline: The message here is simply this, just because Better is Axl's favourite song doesn't mean it's the best song on the album.

Thats what I was thinking when the leaks first came out. I was thinking everyone was just kissing Axl's ass. I actually liked TWAT more than Better but I've listened to Better a lot recently and it is my favourite now.
