Watching Oklahoma 92. Jesus Christ, what a band that was. What an era that was. I mean in general, not just GNR.
I guess this is just nostalgia (and vodka) talking...- 1

Ha, looks like we're getting a new cover version or something. Has any famous musician died recently?

I can’t really imagine this (and only know this show from a description), but considering Axl never does anything the normal way (like an interview, at last), there may be a slight chance of this happening. I’d still prefer a classic interview, but then again, as long as we get some new Axl appearance, who am I to say no.

I don't know where else to put this. But I love it.

That would make Absurd and HS just a fart. Fitting.

But that's not really being cryptic, but let's not get into the semantics of that
Of course he could choose to disclose more of what he has done with GN'R, but equally of course he feels it isn't his job to do so. So what he said is what we knew from before: That he has recorded more for GN'R that hasn't been released yet.
Thank god TB have you!

It's not cryptic, though, is it? He was asked specifically if he could record new GN'R tunes in his studio and he responded that he already have.
If you choose to not understand, then you will not understand. He could have expanded on the topic, couldn't he. But he can't, so he didn't. But maybe he still could have.

First time ever he really confirms that they have worked on new music ?
Finally some good news....now just wait for more. We've heard this from Slash already. Nothing to see here, yet another cryptic crap bit from the band, the sentence literally couldn't have been shorter. After all, 4tus is not allowed to say anything anyway.
A new single or 2 is the maximum I would expect this year. We know they wanna do yet another tour first before starting some album work.

Pretty Tied Up, Bad Obsession, Down On The Farm or anything else that would fit Axl's current voice.
I agree except PTU wouldn't sound good in the chorus.

If there ever was a GN'R-dedicated radio, it wouldn't be FM, it would be F'N.

Can’t help myself, I just love the man, sorry. The essence and apotheosis of rock music.
Too melodramatic, you say? Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn.PS for censors paid by TB: this is not an illegal GN'R video, so get fucked.

Yeah, that would totally rule but there's a reason that it never happenend.
7 years after one of the biggest feuds in the music industry was extinguished, and these two still haven’t appeared together in a single video interview. When was the last time they did this anyway? I think there was a radio interview in 1994 with both of them, but no video. I’m not even sure there was one during the UYI era.

Oh please no

Ah the good ole "a contract from 30 years ago is still preventing the band from releasing new music, and there's nothing in the world these multimillionaires could do about it. Unlike other bands, these guys have all the bad luck in the entire solar system".
Anyway, working on another 1000 pages before an album I see.

Had they been created in 92, yeah, I could believe it had something to do with Duff. But in our version of the universe, nah.
Good job btw.

The only logical answer is "we'll see, based on the playlist" (and Axl's form, I should add).

I love both tbh. The metal thing from AfD as well as the groovy thing from Lies showing off Axl's capabilities. No need to prefer just one!
The "New Album" Thread. Thanks to the long ass thread, I’m going home!
