That is correct, I am approaching it from the angle of "if I only know a few songs, is it worth it?" (He, by the way, the nickname is short for Jason :-) ) my only standard is that I want to visibly see the stage, without an obstructed view. Aside from that I could care less where I sit :-) )

They play all the songs you might know and thensome, so yes. It is worth it. In your scenario I would wait. There will be plenty of tickets, that give you unobstructed view, available.

I am looking at going to the Fenway Park show next year.  I have never seen them live before.  1) is it worth it to see them?  2) Do you think I should buy my ticket now, or wait until show day?

Now that question is silly. Of course it's worth it. As for tickets, depends on whether you have any standards on where you want to see them. If you just care to get into the venue, then waiting might be the best option. If you want to be in a specific section, waiting might not be the best idea.

    The good:

    You Saw Me Crying

    Home Tonight

    Hole In My Soul

    Angel

    The trash:

    The rest.

BS. You wanna say that "What it takes" is trash? And "Cryin'", "Crazy" and "Amazing", "Janie's got a gun" and "Dream on"? Can't take you serious then. There doesn't come a Aerosmith ballad to mind that truly sucks. Sure, some may have been overplayed by now, but none of them is really bad, save, maybe, for the last album, which I don't really remember, as it hasn't really made that much of an impression on me.

Did they say anything about rescheduling, or give a date for an announcement? (Not that anything happened on the last date they dished out of course.....)

No. They just asked for my credit card end number, as I gave them the wrong one.  I said in my second E-Mail, after they totally ignored what I said in my first one and sent me meaningless Standard reply, that I do not care for a new date and want my money back.

Correct, and I love Frank but 99% could care less about what “he” is doing, his new album or anything non GnR related. Him and Richard only get interviewed about their “new” projects so the interviewer can casually slip in some Guns related questions and hope to get some new news out of them. Let’s be honest, how many people read/listen to these interviews to find out anything non GnR related? Wish more people had some balls and just asked all Guns related stuff to each member interviewed (regardless of whatever interview rules they agreed to beforehand) and see what happens. What’s the worst that could happen? Guns stops giving interviews? It’s pretty much been that way already for the last 20 years.

Yes. And even though I want to know about GNR, I still don't watch his interviews. So yeah. ;):P

Na, nothing, i'm really one of the most patiently persons ever, but if we don't get an update regarding the EU shows in the next days, i'll burn the f'n tickets:anger:

Fuck them. I finally got answer from Ticketmaster Irland, looks like I'm getting my money back for Dublin. So I'm down to only 1 ticket.

so pathetic! he gets paid well to travel the world and play to tens of thousands of people in every show with one of the biggest bands in the world while still having the time to do his own musical projects with the one condition of keeping his mouth shut for the most part? shit... he should just kill himself now cause none of these things matter if you don't have the freedom to express yourself lol

Money isn't all. He is a musican and at the beck and call of other people and can't even say that he contributed to a song. That is pathetic.

I think we found the best and most effective way to get some of our Gn'R questions answered: you read their body language, you analyze their face expressions, you cross reference information from the database and consult other people's opinions and then you can easily interpret it well enough to come to the conclusion that yes, Frank was, in fact, probably involved in the reworking of Shadow Of Your Love when it came to his own instrument, at least to some extent.

    Easily.

Of course he didn't answer about new GnR music. But there is an interesting non-answer at the end of the interview about whether he was involved in the AFD box set. Also an answer to a question that was not asked: "The guys in the band like my drumming".

But really. Who cares if he was involved?

That made me laugh! Not sure why 'scheduling conflicts' has been used as the reason when it's glaringly obvious why the dates aren't happening!

Who knows where the ticket money has been? Something could have waiting to mature in those 3 months to make a decent return.

Well, that is a term quite commonly used when acts don't want to admit that their sales went like shit. That never ceases to illicit a giggle.

Maybe some banker can enlighten us, what the interest would be for holding on to the money for 3 extra months. ;)

Just got an email from the venue, Atlanta show is canceled due to scheduling conflicts and I will automatically receive a refund in 5 to 7 days

LOL do they mean that fans are scheduled to be someplace else on the undisclosed date of the show?

Looks like we know the American dates are gone then. I can't say I'm surprised. With sales as they were, it would have seemed pointless rescheduling them anyway I suppose.

    No news on Europe yet?

Yeah. Was kinda expecting that. Though unclear why they needed 3 months to come to that realization.

If you decide to hold on to your tickets, you will receive a new communication when the event organizer either cancels or reschedules the event.

It's just strange that first they don't refund you. Now they tell you that they refund you, but still don't tell you when and if there are new dates. Why do they refund now, but didn't last week? Something must have changed.
