Axl has his own Website now
ryanf23 replied to kingcanyon's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
For anyone worried about the book causing tension with Slash, I’m pretty certain the band would have been given an advanced copy or at least the portions pertaining to them. Axl wouldn’t just drop a bomb on them at the risk of causing the band to breakup again and cost millions of dollars. If there is one bad word about Slash or Duff, guaranteed they already know exactly what is said and have told Axl no worries -

I could see the opposite and him being very open. This is a man who’s had so many battles with the press/magazines telling lies… it’s his opportunity to set the record straight on anything and everything -

I think the quote on the home page could be the title of his autobiography… I don’t think it’s a great title for a book, but it would make the most sense to me -
Interesting, still doesn’t mean the song was fully fleshed out. I know one lyric was in the AFD booklet, but I’d need way more evidence than one journalist, in June of 87, when the band where not famous, to say he heard YCBM demo. Out of all the recordings we have not one single YCBM. I could be wrong, but the journalist could also be recalling wrong. I still don’t believe a recording exists

I tried listening both ways and I think TG first and Monsters second. Here’s why: 1. TG feels like Axl talking about his feelings as a kid (this would be a natural starting point not ending point) 2. Monsters feels more like grown up Axl confronting the child abuse 3. the screaming part in Monsters is very much like the ending of Coma… the screaming part just sounds like a good climax to the finish

For those wondering about it not getting a streaming release, wherever that rumor started is false. The band WANTS everyone to hear the song - they wouldn’t want to release it to only have a few people hear it. Of course it will be on streaming and downloadable services. Common sense people, stop believing the ridiculous

Perhaps - New Guns N' Roses Single - Discussion

If you go to Apple ITunes, type in Guns N Roses Perhaps, you’ll find a 27 second preview of the Perhaps video. It’s a collage of behind the scenes and on the stage so pretty boring the video cost $1.99 -
Perhaps - New Guns N' Roses Single - Discussion

Has it been discussed yet the possible reasons for a 8 ball chosen as artwork? I’m not a gnr theorist lol, I truly believe half the shit they do right is by accident. But, could the 8 ball be a message about looking in to the future (aka more music) side note: even typing this makes me want to punch myself in the face for even bringing it up lol -
Are ticket sales really that bad for the band right now that they would need to release a single? Side note: every gnr show I’ve been too, seems to be made up mostly of fans who probably don’t even own all the music, let alone a new single. Seems like most are there for a rock show that’s in their hometown. So, I don’t see a single helping with Sales. If anything, I’d say whatever the band releases they are just doing so because they want to, not because they have to for any reason.
