I love that Billy is on a GNR thread.
This was made by the same guy who did the UYI videos...
...and no "Stranger" to tantrums
Laura is about his mom, figured I'd throw that one in for Mother's Day

Steve Jones' look from around that time is brilliant as well! They both just suddenly became hair metallers! In the 2nd vid he could literally be Bon Jovi and in the 3rd... well... he's got a 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' thing going on. He's a North East of England lad as well, much like myself, which for some reason makes it even more hilarious that he went full on L.A. rocker (saying that, if I'd been a few years older, I would probably have been sporting a similarly ridiculous barnet, such was my love of hair metal in those days)
Jonesy (who called it his "Fabio phase") & Michael Des Barres were in Chequered Past and supported Duran Duran on a bunch of dates. That led to Michael replacing Robert Palmer in Power Station, Jonesy collaborating with Andy on "Thunder" (which does have the same vibe as Jonesy's "Mercy") and later John Taylor in Neurotic Outsiders.

Axl blew most of the ChiDem budget on producing their demos.... at least it makes for a good urban legend.

NSFW? Nah... The guys who made the video were in this band

Billy Joel pays the record company not to reissue this one and his Hassles records.

Not giving credit to Manson was what the Beach Boys did... and you know how that turned out. I am surprised Dennis Wilson wasn't killed.

Do The Stones play songs off those albums live? Have you seen my baby is the only song I remember off Voodoo Lounge and I liked that song.
When they did the Voodoo Lounge tour, they did 5 or 6 songs from the album, I remember Keith performing The Worst. Thru and Thru came later when The Sopranos made it popular and they did the HBO special.

i was ecstatic that Axl and Slash made amends. the most heart breaking thing i ever read was Slash coming to Axl's door and Axl not even bothering to come and say hi so Slash being with Axl and playing together was all i really wanted. but NOW i would so love to see the AFD reunite. if it happens i'll be over the moon, if not, thank you all for what you did give and all your fans
Slash sounded like he had to deal with the wrath of Perla if he didn't go.
An AFD show with just the 5 guys will probably never happen, it'll be the full band plus Steven and Izzy. I think if GNR had unfinished recordings that they want Izzy and Steven to add parts to, that's more likely.

Does Azoff manage Journey now?
I'm pretty sure he's been managing them for a while.

The audience didn't seem to miss Steve Perry when Journey performed, but GNR and VH didn't reunite at Rock Hall either, so the door's still open. I'm sure Azoff was pushing them to do it with the upcoming festivals.

The shows are a well-oiled machine. The people that have been going seem to be getting their money's worth. People going to multiple shows might feel let down if the setlist's more or less the same from the last time, but they also sit in different seats, different venues, different cities sometimes, different group of people you went with, all factors into a fun night out. Maybe the girlfriend (or kid, or girlfriend with kid) was a bad idea to bring.
As far as new albums go, it's hard to justify putting something out that is just going to be heard streaming or on You Tube and maybe get 30,000 (if they're lucky) the first week, but no one can predict how it would do. It depends how people take to new music with Axl and Slash vs repackaging a new Greatest Hits and Deluxe Editions (which bands are always actively involved in, they just turn the tapes in and hear the results later) of the back catalog (yes, including ChiDem). We'll probably get a live album out of this tour if there's an ending point to it. They might just keep this going every few years, release a few new songs here and there, instead of a new album.

Billy had his roadie "Chainsaw" come out doing Highway to Hell for years so they knew the song well.
....Brian Johnson is a good friend of his, they're both into racing, motorcycles, and Billy also has a home in Florida.
