Very well put! So jealous right now. I managed to catch them on the Dig Out Your Soul tour, but I'd LOVE to see these guys again. Oasis actually has (or at least had) a lot of the magic early GnR had in the sense that there was alawas a looming sense of legitimate danger. Anything could happen. Anyone could flip. It could all go tits up in seconds. But when they were on, they were one of the best things in the world. They're massively underrated outside the UK and especially in the US imo. I was playing Be Here Now and after that some compilation stuff in the car yesterday and it's just absolutely brilliant.

There's a certain sense of irony in posting this on a GnR forum.

I really don't get it, people who go to see them year after year and multiple shows per tour. There are so many other (and often better) artists out there to go see. Why pour more money into yet another GnR tour where they'll do the same thing they did last year but slightly worse or with 1 or maybe 2 different songs (which will likely be different covers)?

This might be a hot take, but the only two (ex) Guns n' Roses members who's solo material has been consistently good, are Izzy Stradlin and Tommy Stinson. With Izzy I love his entire discography and his first 5 albums in particular. For Tommy I love his 2 solo albums, his 2 Bash & Pop albums and his Perfect album and EP.

This is very accurate. Even here. Metalheads, in my experience, are generally really chill people looking to have their type of fun. They might try to look scary, but they're mostly chill people. The worst type of crowds, by far, are the retarded whitetrash yobs described here. Because they get absolutely smashed out of their minds drunk and generally don't give a fuck. Music is more of a backdrop for them to which they can display their retardation. Even here Oasis was one of the most rowdy gigs I've been to.

Now let's focus on the main difference - The guys in Oasis can still go! I'd really love an Oasis reunion. I managed to catch them live on the Dig Out Your Soul tour and I'd love to see them again. I hope their reunion won't be as much of an uninspired shitfest as NITL. I imagine they'd break up again halfway through the tour though. This is Oasis after all.
