KISS' newer albums are pretty good. Its just sad they don't have the original members since that is the sound they are channelling and doing it well. Ace's album is surprisingly really really good, and definitely when I hear those licks I think "Fuck, that would sound great with the KISS song on Sonic Boom or something." I don't dwell on it, but its definitely in my head that with Stanley and Simmons helping there are all in the same mindset, just not working together...

Sonic Boom was good, but Monster was terrible. I couldn't make it past the first 2 songs. Space Invader is MILES above either of those records though. IMO, the last truly great KISS album was Alive Millenium
